Sorry for the necropost.
I got Photoshop the other day and decided to try this out on my old, crappy PS2 pics.

PS. How would one get real pictures to look fake like in this Adult Swim bump? http://www.bumpworthy.com/bump_display.php?bid=261
It seems no matter how hard I try, that I just don't have enough pixel's to make the foreground look sharp enough. Do you have any suggestions for advanced settings on graphics cards to get a cleaner original image? or setting resolutions?
I failWas still fun as hell though. Think the orginal looked better. These pictures were taken from my PS2, going to try now on my PC.

You da man Wafik, after starting out with your screenshot enhancing lesson I've just grown to love Photoshop so much @_@;. Your method even works pretty well (IMO) with RL photographs. Here's one of mine for example:
Me playing DDR... but slightly enhanced

All needs more lens flaire tbh
The key is a light touch. I see some of the images that people have been putting up and, to my eye at least, there's way too much blur going on and there doesn't seem to be much thought put into it. As I look at some of the modified SC' I feel like I've walked outside without my glasses on and viewing the world in all it's blurry myopic glory
I posted this over in the FFXI Screenshots thread but since this has been revived I think it's worth throwing out here. To me, this is probably the best work I've done, but even looking back at it now I wished I hadn't been so hasty on the background walls. But if I spent more than 30 mins on it again I think I might have picked it out.
PS: And yes I forgot to remove my plugins and I've fixed that on my windower so if you feel like commenting on that just keep it to yourself.
