I.D. Tag crap

I've been doing this thing with I.D. Tags where you take one in advance and let it regen, in a way eventually giving you 4 tags to use if you end up not using the one you took. So I did 4 runs with my LS on Saturday and took the first tag to regen on Sunday.

By now, all but the tag in my key items should have regened. However, none have. Rytaal shows 0 tags waiting for me.

I was under the impression each tag has its own timer and regens 24 hours after its use. Is this incorrect or am I in the middle of a particularly shitty glitch?

Banished to Zam I know, but they're too stupid to actually be of any use.

Dunno if this helps, but the time your tags regen probably changed (he tells you when next is up). I think tag time changes when you go from tag 3 > 2 so the time you were expecting them to up was changed. All I can think off

One in Mamook PFC
Ilrusi PFC
Periqia PFC

Came back 24 hours after I finished the Lebros, took my tag, get message that my next tag will be ready exactly 24 hours from then. I assumed it meant for that specific tag but that's shitty.

Oh well.

Looks like a glitch Priran.

I've done what you did several times before. The only thing I can think of is if you don't confirm your win, the ID tag won't start it's 24 hour regen process... but since you did 3 Assaults after it, you had to confirm the wins. Maybe not confirming the last win halted the process for some weird reason? (Again, that would be a glitch)

From the description it doesn't seem like a glitch to me. Elcura already informed you that the regeneration time is set when you transition for 3>2 and one appears after those 24hrs. The regeneration of each tag is based on it and the tags don't have individual timers.

You used 4 tags on Saturday, one regened and you picked it up Sunday. Now it's Monday, and depending on the time you got your 3>2 tag on Saturday, you're not going to see it for a few hours.

If you currently have 0 tags, the NPC should be informing you of the exact time when the next should appear. Is he no longer telling you?

was implying that he took the first tag on saturday so that it would regen on sunday, not that he actually used it on Sunday.

Although that doesn't explain why the guy is telling him 24 hours since the time he asked the NPC today, unless that's by coincidence.

Well, looking at what he said

He has 3 tags and 1 already in key items. As soon as he finishes lebros, he's going to pick up one of the 3 tags on npc making the 3>2 transition. He says he returned 24hrs from finishing lebros (which is the same time he picked up his next tag setting the timer) and got the regened tag. The NPC is going to tell him that another won't appear until 24hrs later since he came back 24hrs from making the 3>2 transition.


Edit: He used up 4 tags on saturday and the reason he picked up the first on sunday was that so it'd be in his key items allowing 3 more to regenerate on the npc.

Have you done it this way before? From the way I'm reading it, it's working correctly. You say "By now, all but the tag in my key items should have regened", which isn't correct after one day. You only get one tag recovered each day, regardless of how many you use. If you do assault every day you can only do one each day, but you can store up to 3 tags for future use.

Wow, so the original manga is just as random as the dialogue it was being replaced with. And here I was imagining it was a normal, sensible conversation before being rewritten as a Mitch Hedberg joke.
