I used the super low tech method of getting rid of AIM ads... I downloaded the UK version. It's not Triton, but I don't like that version anyway. Most of the time, my buddy list window has a blank white space where the ad should be. Every once in a while, a genuine UK ad will filter through, but that's rare. They never have any sound either.
