GO HEAT! The fucking Mavs make me sick, they don't deserve to win. I predict that Shaq and Wade's refs will be better than Dirk's refs. Miami in 5.

Games 3 and 4 in the Spurs series were as handed to the Mavs on a silver platter as any sports contests I've seen in the last two decades. I haven't seen it that bad since Knicks/Pacers EC finals in '99. The Mavs are a very strong team but anyone who calls that series one of the best ever is a casual fan at best (if anything it was a scathing indictment of the league and proof of every serious criticism anyone can level at professional basketball), and ignoring the breaks the Mavs have gotten along the way is wish-fulfillment. Still, they'll probably win, and World Champion is World Champion. Dirk is an amazing player (no big man in history shoots like him, his range is outrageous), I just can't stand AJ, Cuban, and Terry. AJ learned a lot of things from Gregg Popovich but presumably not being a whiny bitch wasn't one of them. The first round of these playoffs was so amazing, I am sick at the NBA for tainting Spurs/Mavs and in my view ruining an otherwise incredible postseason.

Suspending for fouls like this is fucking gay :down: I'm glad that he's suspended for the fact that I want the Heat to win, but it's still really fucking gay.

Shaq's 7+ foot, 300+ LBs. He can't shoot free throws, and is going up for a shot that has 99.99% chance of scoring. Smartest basketball play to be made is to foul him and make sure he doesn't have the ability to make the baseket for a plus 1 situation. Lemme know when people figure out a better way to stop somebody that fuckin big from scoring on a fast break.

All the excessive foul calls, and expecaily the flagrants, are really fucking gay (The other one that comes to my mind is James Posey's double flagrant against the bulls. Hello: Fast break oppurtunity for the bulls, best thing to do is foul the guy with the ball and make him earn the points. All he did was slightly knock him down to stop him from going to the hoop, the guy got right back up with no signs of being hurt what-so-ever. Although I can understand Posey's situation a lot more for atleast 1 flagrant being called, Stackhouse didn't have excessive contact what-so-ever). I stopped watching the NBA back in like 2000, and even now I only started watching again once the playoff started (NCAA >>>>> NBA). Now every little hit is called a foul. All the plays regarding Dirk in the playoffs v.s. the Spurs is evident enough of that, and even outside of game-winning moments it's rediculous. I read that Stern was "cracking down" so that more fouls were called or something, and really all it has done is ruin the ability to enjoy a game from a spectators standpoint.

Shit, I remember watching Jordan back in the 90's make amazing plays, driving to the basket and still being able to score with no fouls called. Now all you need is for your guard to drive towards the bakset and bam: two free foul shots. I mean, I'm not saying fouls should never be called. But most of the things called are just pitiful. I love Wade and all (He made me a fan these playoffs. I had heard so much about Lebron James is so awesome blah blah blah which is why I started watching them in the first place really but I was under-impressed by him. I'm not saying he sucks or anything, he deffinatly has great skill (Hello there 2 game winning baskets aswell as finding drawing a double team to get an open man to win a 3rd)...but I heard so much hype about him, and outside of those 3 plays he really didn't do anything that absolutely awed me. Meanwhile Wade's just a fucking maniac.) but most of his points come from just driving to the hoop and getting fouls called. Now while he is actually very talented at drawing fouls, majority of the fouls against him are hard fouls, some others ones are hardly anything and just makes me go

But moreso is the away from the ball, body checking, hand checking, illegal screens, ect. fouls. Atleast driving to the hoop can be understandable. But, just as an example cuz it's the first thing that comes to mind, just look at almost all of Haslem's fouls last night for body/hand checking. Hardly anything happened, yet now he has to sit, play stops, ect. ect. just made the whole thing makes watching unejoyable. Again, I can understand when something hard is done, but most of those the fouls called based off those things are just fucking stupid.

So yeah, that's my rant. 8)
