    Fixed for accuracy.

His jersey was grabbed as he was running. While he was going up for the shot nothing happened. Either he could have had two free throws from the foul or an open three pointer. I'd choose the second option considering the small chance of grabbing a offensive rebound off a purposely missed second free throw.

You can not seriously sit there and say that with a straight face when a 2 guard just got more free throws than the other team did. I'm a neutral party, and Dallas got jobbed.
Wade attacked the baseket, Dallas shot jump shots. You're going to get fouled rushing like that, you're hardly ever going to get fouled taking jump shots.

not that the refs did anything game changing, but god damn @ wade getting every call. Threw a fore-arm into witski's gut with about a minute left and gets a foul. Some things are just obvious...like when a player (wade) shoots 46 free throws in 2 games vs the opposing teams high of 15 FT's (Howard). Whether he's an attacking gaurd or not, that's just absurd.

    Fixed.

Also, Dallas remains the last team in the world that can complain about the officiating. Dwade got those foul called bouncing off of people. Dirk gets them when others brush against an imaginary extension of his physical presence. In the final quarter all the momentum-changing calls went Dallas' way, including the Heat being in the penalty within five minutes and the silliest final minute of a finals game I've ever seen. Travelling? On an offensive board after a free throw? During the likely final play of the entire postseason? Know when I've seen that call before? Never.

Regardless of what team you like this postseason was a sad commentary on where the NBA wants to go and an otherwise brilliant playoffs (records for OT games) was marred by the most ridiculous and unfair officiating in memory (records for FTs, more games decided by coin-flip calls than ever, hurray). This is sort of sad since the level of play in the NBA is huge right now.

Also, I still don't really like Dallas management's efforts to reduce the level of decorum in the NBA to that of pro wrestling. The NBA doesn't need that.

No, in this series it was wade that got the calls. in the NBA superstars get the calls. Its just how the NBA is. MJ got the calls, magic johnson could palm the ball, hakeem could travel on a hook shot, Dr J could get a half step when going in for a dunk, wilt never fouled out. There is bad officiating, and then theres the NBA superstar lienancy rule. Was it d. wade's fault that he got all the calls in this series? NO. And i really don't blame him for taking advantage of it. He knew that if he was agressive, and drove the lanes, he'd get the calls. And he did...46 FT attempts in game 5 and 6. It's dirk's fault that he wasn't aggressive in this series, cuz calls could have went his way as well. I'll give it to you that the travel call at the end was complete bullshit, but hey, so was wade's foul. Im a firm believer that in the final minute of a close game, let them fucking play ball. You don't decide games in the final minute on free throw attempts.

And that is why this postseason sucked even though it should have been one of the best ever. ;; I'm just glad it's done so I don't have to hear a fucking whistle for months.

I'm glad it's over too, Dallas choking made me fell better about the Spurs getting screwed. Anyway, the draft is around the corner, trading can begin soon, and we are all even again. I think there's alot of good players we can all look forward to. Spurs in '07!!!!
