If you could update your "unknown" list with items people have responded to, I'll comb through it and add some of my own comments after lunch. (I feel that if I did that now I'd be duplicating a lot of stuff that people have already said)

Yea, I can't really update it till I get home unfortunately. I'm at work right now, and the programs I wrote that parse the "master" list and split it into separate lists isn't here. Plus I'm kinda supposed to be trying to figure out why my my driver is leaking memory

I was going to use it for my parser since sometimes messages are ambiguous and it's impossible to figure out whether somethign is helping you (e.g. an NPC) or fighting against you (e.g. an enemy). Should be easy, right? It's all in the DAT files after all. This turned out to be a fucking huge undertaking, but I'm glad it's over. I thought other people might find this useful, and I plan to maintain this site across future updates, so it will always have the most up-to-date information possible about enemies, NPCs, targets, and "hidden" shit in the game.

To give you an idea how much of a pain in the ass this was, the DAT files contain no information about whether something is an enemy, NPC, target, or debugging related. There were 6,412 entries spread across all the DAT files. That means I had to manually analyze 6,412 things and use somepage to figure out if they were known NPCs or enemies, and mark a flag in the file to indicate which it was.

Anyway, now that this is done, I'm glad I can continue working on the parser lol. I plan to change some of the formats in the future to separate out the enemies, NPCs, targets, and debug points in the links that point to individual zones. Like have it display all enemies at the top, all NPCs below that, all targets below that, and all debugging stuff below that.

If anyone can tell me the categorization of any of the points I've marked as unknown, I'd appreciate it. That was stuff I couldn't find on any database site and it didn't ring a bell to me.

This is just an idea, it might be too complicated, too much work or even not worth it, but:
Since you are already planning to keep a list of monsters names, you could go a step further and automatically note in your parses the data from studio gobli etc about monsters weakness to different types of damage elements and skillchains
    (e.g., http://www015.upp.so-net.ne.jp/reaver/monster.html )
and then maybe go another step further and use the data for calculating and predicting a monster's defense and vitality based on level and family type ( http://www.geocities.co.jp/Playtown-Part/6371/memo.html top new part). You could estimate level after a kill from the xp, and if people enter their data from saved build choices, you could compute estimate ranges (just like ws calculators, maybe not so useful but it is just a few equations to add) and compare the collected data with that, and if people can tell parser when they switch to different gear between those pre-saved builds, it would be easier to compare the effect of gear changes.

Well now that I type it out it's probably too much of a sidetrack from a parser, maybe more of a windower plugin idea...
Anyways if you feel like implementing any of those ideas or variations of them, it could be a cool addition to your parser.

Alzaadal Undersea Ruins has a Runic Portal and a Runic Seal apparently. This leads me to believe that it holds an Assault area, and will most likely be what the empty counter in the Comissions Agency is for. It also means most likely that there will be new exp mobs in Alzadaal

(BTW, I had Dynamis last night so I didn't update the info with anything in this thread yet).

Aka: There are some NPCs in ToAU quests only available in CS's atm, but like the Prankster quest ( i think its near 90% that this will be continue), these quests seems to be a begin of a quest series, SE could update in the future.

Just some mobs ive seen nobody has written about:

Alcander - {Aht Urhgan Whitegate, Bhaflau Thickets} : CS NPC only (sofar) in Prankster quest.

--> Automaton - NPC White gate: this is a bugged named Automaton -his name is Pinocchio-, u can see his name only for some sec when u speak with his owner , IT IS A NOT TARGETABLE NPC BECAUSE HIS NAME IS HIDDEN but not hidden when u speka wit hthe owner ( his dance moves make me crazy) <-- and a CS NPC in Pup flag quest.
--> Dietmund NPC in lower jeuno, rest are CS versions, BST flag quests
--> Claidie: CS-NPC only in Sandoria Missions and a single quest, beloved princess (we will never find her rooms to stalk her, too bad)
--> Eideialc : CS only in Sandoria Missions ( its Claidie d' Orageuille, priness of Sandoria in a "costume").
---> Fodderchief Vokdek - {Ghelsba Outpost}: CS + BCNM (orcish hut BCNM) mob for Sandoria Mission Rescue the children
-->Jijiroon - {Nashmau}: normal NPC involved in the quest "the Die is Cast"
--->Joker - {Full Moon Fountain, Outer Horutoto Ruins, Port Windurst, Windurst Walls} only CS NPC, cardian involved in Missions and quests in Windurst
    --->Kishi01 - {Ghelsba Outpost} and Kishi02 - {Ghelsba Outpost}. 99,9% two knights ( = kishi) in the CS's of a mission in Sandoria, they are unnamed.

I think this is for BST AF3 as well (pants). This triggers the fight vs the two tigers.

I think you got slightly confused, you probably mean attestation of artichoke (or was it artichokity?). Grats anyways though.
