Lordandrew was RDM/NIN, I can't think of the name of the RDM/WAR he speaks of.

I was thinking Lordandrew. Saw him with a WAR sub once.
But yea, he does do a combination of /NIN, /WAR, and I think one time I saw /MNK.
That's hawt. I wanna see a merit party with a rdm/nin, whm/war, blm/smn, drk/war, nin/blm, and a nice war/thf to top it off. sup 4k/hour just because you want to "roleplay." I'll quote Lordwafik and say that I'm gonna roleplay the part of the guy that hates the RDM/NIN and kicks him.
I wish I remembered the name of the BLM/NIN that I partied with a long time ago. He spent all of his MP on nukes in the first minute of the fight then complained that the tank could not keep the mob off of him because he was so awesome. And of course he never used Utsusemi.
Supposedly this guy was Ronsdadt's second character. (I could believe it.)
Well, at least he levels WAR now.
With a Gluttony Sword.

Have any of the rest of you been asked multiple times to log onto people's characters and beat this fight for them?![]()
rdm maat was a joke for me.
then again, I only had like +14 elemental skill from merits going for me and the experience of soloing on blm forever.
I'll have to beg to differ with that 'test of your skills' thing though for certain job combinations, like Taru as any melee. Fucking ridiculous bullshit happens sometimes and you just don't have the HP.
The irony meter is going off the charts on this one.Originally Posted by Genosync

RDM maat should be easy on any job given proper meds to have enough mp. So please, don't consider that an opposite to a taru having low hp, because not being able to withstand certain attacks isn't the same thing is not preparing properly. kthx
I see no irony in that statement.Originally Posted by Epical

fuckin' win =(
Original rdm maat was level 71. I remember I got passed it but an elvaan rdm at the same time couldn't. Merits didn't exist then though, but I gained .5 elemental skill during the fight and had no staves because an NQ was 500-1mil gil.
As far as I know, mobs in the game give you skill up to your skill's cap at their level. So if you're fighting a Lv70 mob and skilling up a B and a D skill, you'll cease getting skill at the Lv70 cap for B- and D-rated skills.
I was pointing to the fact that my elemental skill wasn't capped when I fought him. It was well known that original rdm maat was level 71 by possessing the spell fire II, which a level 70 rdm has no access to.
I don't know what kind of gimp RDMs you know, but I had Fire II way before 70.Originally Posted by epigram

Actually I still don't have shell III.
