Only if there's some log of large shifts of position within a short period of time (e.g. checking current x,y coords vs your x,y coords a second ago, and finding you moved quite a bit). Or if there's some sort of timer between zone points that would flag you if you zone in from Meriphataud and manage to zone into Boyahda, Aery, or Ro'maeve in less than 5 min.

More likely it just keeps track of the source and destination every time someone zones. So if leet_haxxor_08 force zones to BD from anywhere but qufim, or to boyahda/DA from anywhere but zitah, it can't be legal.

I don't think that's the case so much as someone zoning into Zi'Tah from Meriphataud, then 5 seconds later they're in Aery. I don't know of any leet_haxxors that can zone from, say, jeuno directly to behemoth's dominion without at least hitting Qufim (for 2 seconds) on the way.

I think its just sad when people can't play the way the game was intended. Yes, it sucks having to sneak through the tree to get to DA, but thats the way its supposed to be done. Not be able to train every bark tarantula and Demon Rose to the DA zone and somehow losing hate on the way. I know Crimson legs give you +12% movement rate, but COME ON, it doesn't turn you into the Flash.

We also get blatent uses of flee tool on KB, having ninja's voke from like halfway across the area, a ninja during the middle of the day running faster than a blm with heralds gaiters, etc- just gets bad after a while.

I never used to care really, I used to just let people do their thing, but I broke down the other night and have reported 3 people now, people using flee hacks and POS tools blatently in the middle of area's where there wasn't even really a need or good reason.

Oh yea, one last thing, just a big thanks to Jhunita for synthing my cursed cap for the N head I got, long time coming. Thanks yo!

Well, who knows what the servers allow. Maybe you just send to the current zone server "yo I'm zoning out" and then to the destination server "yo I'm zoning in" and boom the transition works, no matter what pair of zones you choose. Then you could zone from DA to BD, and then pos-hack yourself to Behemoth's pop area, all in about 10 seconds.

Of course it would be blatantly obvious in the server logs of your character, and a GM would probably ban you on the spot if he investigated you.

Yeah, Think about the Vana... Wind! That client can hop from zone to zone fast... and GM's probably have a client that isn't too different from the one that we all play on (if not the same exact one), and we know they can teleport anywhere.

Any plus movement speed items can get you to Aery untouched without the use of any leet hax. I personally train to the zone anytime I enter during night on my ninja, as im a stingy bastard with my oils.

I also consider it doing it a service to the HNM community, as anyone who has sneak wear behind me doesnt have to worry about blowing another oil, since those mobs are now out of commission for a good 1-2 mins before they despawn/repop ^o^
