Ummm.. go to McDonald's then. Don't knock shit til you try it either. I used to be a waiter is why I'm opinionated on the matter and it's one of the most tiring jobs I've ever done. It was also a "dining" restaurant not the apparently trash places you go to (Denny's).

You look at just yourself. You may think it's easy to serve 1 table, but when you have 7 tables of 4+ people and you have assholes like yourself who think their shit don't stink, it's tough. Try it.

I never said I don't tip. I seldom refuse to tip unless the service is outright abominable.

What I refuse to do is tip an automatic 20%. Tipping is a voluntary fucking thing, a thank you to a server who actually put some pride into their work. I don't care that it's a difficult and tiring job. So's any fucking job you do to pay the bills. Guess what, if I'm mediocre at any job I'll probably make less money and get fired there, too. But I don't feel entitled to 5% more than what I was originally getting just for showing up to work on time and doing what was expected of me.

15% and like it. Your job sucks, but I like my money more than I liked your service. Welcome to a free market economy.
