so let me get this straight, you only need 7 jobs at 75 to get a maat's cap?

You dont need ANY jobs at 75, just 66, the minimum level required to fight Maat. I believe you have to win with every job though, which is really hard with some of those, though maybe not nowadays with new meds/food/gear.

When Fenrir came out, the Evoker's Ring quest was expanded to include an item from Fenrir, too. So those who got their Evoker's Ring after Fenrir came out had to do one more fight than the ones who got it before Fenrir.

It could be possible that you need all 18 jobs past Maat now to get the cap, which would mean you can't get Maat's Cap anymore until they patch in a Maat fight for the new jobs.

Has anyone tried getting Maat's Cap since ToAU came out, having 15 of the 18 jobs past Maat, and not be able to get the cap?

It can't include ToAU jobs yet because the G5 fights for them haven't been added yet.

That's assuming SE didn't mind having everyone wait for a while to get their caps. Its not like they couldn't require you to have something completed which you cannot complete yet to get the cap. It is SE, afterall.

they didn't have time to add AFs to the new jobs, they didn't have time to add Genkai V for the new jobs, they wouldn't have time to mess with something that affects 0.0001% of the playerbase.

Well, there sure as hell aren't on Phoenix. There is one JP that has it, but that's it. Was just talking to a friend, she thinks there must be at least one, but I have never seen anything about it before, and given I've only heard of maybe 3-4 people with it (all JP), I was wondering if I was wrong.

im not exactly sure of this. But a friend of mine trying to get the cap talked to maat on his rdm at like... lvl 54 or 55, and Maat said the same dialogue to him as if he was ready to fight him. So he thinks once you beat maat once you can fight him at any level on another job. Though he hasnt tried, because even if you could it would be pretty useless >_<
