NAs with Maat's Cap

My posts were made to express my opinion about something, is that allowed ? Seems like it's not ...

If you make cake as a living, and I say I don't like cake, will you take offense in it ? I don't know, seriously lol.

I am saying I pitty these people, and I do. Why ? Because this is how I am. If you pitty me because I pitty you, go ahead. I am just stating that I pitty them because:

Like I said, they are shouting out loud that they suck at life. But still, they have every right to do what they want with their lives, but I have every right to pitty them.

Even though I know everyone plays the game for different reasons, I pitty the person who has all 15 jobs (now 18, but if they had 15 jobs at 75 now they prolly have all 18 at 75 too) at 75, because I can't see how it can be fun to play FFXI with 15 (or 18 ) jobs to 75, but that's my opinion, and I still can understand that we don't have the same goals, but that does not make me *not* pitty them ...

Not only it's a big trophee to say "HEY EVERYONE LOOK HOW I SUCK AT LIFE!!" But heh ... once you get it, assuming you beat it with all jobs to 66, what are you gonna do ? Level those job to 75 ... camp kings, merit ... for what ? To make your character more powerful, for what ? To eum ... kill kings faster and get merits faster ... for what ? To pimp your character ... heh anyways.

I LOL really hard (well, in my mind at least) when people come on these forums acting as if they knew the meaning of life and believe they have the priveledge to judge others.

If people want to spend time the way they want to spend their time who cares?

Time spent getting capped merits is close to getting all jobs to 66. I fail to see who fails at life in this situation.

And, as a "master judge of life", I think that there are better things to do IRL, sometimes, than play a game. But that's my freaking opinion. I play the damn game too, but I have the right to pitty someone who plays this game more than 10 hours a day. I said "people with Maat's Cap" because the Cap is a trophee, and when you have it it tells me that you do, or at least did, played the game 10 hours a day, at least for a while ... An old friend of mine had 247 days played about a year ago, and he started at ps2 release. I do pitty him, why ? Because I think it's alot. But then again, he has the right to do anything with his life, but I have the right to have an opinion about it. As long as I don't tell him "get a life, quit this game", I can think whatever I want.
And I did play 10 hours a day for some time, am I proud of myself ? Who cares.

Everyone is always judging everyone else, but when it comes to pitty, it is unnaccepable ...

1 - People who make fun of others about playing the same game automatically lose.

2- The word pity implies that you are better than the person you pity. Why exactly are you better? Because you have other things to do outside of FFXI?

3- You say your friend is pimped out beyond belief on his one job to 75. Thats great, he's a solid single facet player. But what happens when you need another job to fill a role, and he can't do it because he only has that one job at 75? I respect people with multiple 75's more than people with one simply because they are more of a utility player, and can compensate or pick up the slack in more than one situation.

Not sure why you keep saying pitty, but anyways, why specify Maat's Cap? Why not, anyone with 120+ merits, or full AF2, or a relic weapon, etc. Why not pity everyone who plays the game including yourself?
