PoL Membership problem

I was wondering if anyone else has gotten this same problem and if so, know how to fix it;

A friend of mine is quitting and gave me his account. I added it as a new member and can log in fine. The problem is when I am to go change membership settings under "Service & Support>Membership". I have to confirm membership by using the same password as I did when I logged onto the account (I've tried this with my own character and it worked fine. My friend has also tried to login on membership on his own cpu, and it worked for him)

I get the following message:
"ERROR
UCS-5000
Invalid or incomplete information.
please check your PlayOnline ID and password, and try again."

It works for him on his account and me on my accound, why not for me on his account?

Anyone had the same problem? :/

Sounds like a region problem... did he create the account using NA POL and you're using EU or JP POL? I had a similar problem, I had to install NA POL to change CC details on an account I had use of for a while.

Yeah, you have to use the same region's POL client to edit membership settings.
