For those that are unconvinced between switching from the original ds to the ds lite, you really need to see the Lite in action. The screen is amazing, its incredibly bright. (looks like a sticker on the screen). I guess it boils down to how often you play your DS anyways but you can easily sell your DS system for around 70+ on Ebay to soften the blow. Last couple auctions seemed to end around 80 or so.

Yeah I picked up my DS Lite yesterday and so far impressed. I like it much better than my friend's DS lol. New Super Mario Bros is also fun and nostalgic. Supposedly SE is releasing FF IV and V on one cartridge later... already know 3 is coming out redone in 3d. Hell I bought this just for Zelda in November lol.

This the only one I've heard sorta running but not for DS. I know there was this big one being programmed..but it turned out to be fake.

Even though it uses 802.11, the fact is that most wireless cards can't even communicate with the DS properly because it doesn't use TCP/IP to communicate with other DS systems; it uses a proprietary Nintendo protocol.

This problem has come up both with attempts to tunnel the Nintendo DS, as well as attempts to wirelessly boot the DS through the 'Download Play' feature. Team X-Link has tried it and failed (although they probably wouldn't tell you that), and the DS development community has tried their hand at the wireless booting as well. They've since moved on to other methods of booting the DS, namely through the cartridge slots.

Not saying it's 100% impossible, but I really don't think this is going to be it.

Oh man.....that sucks. Been there.

My first PSP had a bright ass green dead pixel...dead center of the fucking screen! So I took it back to bitch. Naturally, they said their policy was that 9 or more pixels need to be dead in order for it to be declared "DOA" and thus exchangable. 8 or less, and its a working system. I was pissed. If it was in a corner, I wouldn't have been so upset...but it was right in the middle of the screen, where all the action is. I explain this to the guy, and he hold his ground. I explained I spend alot of money at this store (easily seen on my account), and ask if he could just take a look and see if there is anything that could be done. Reluctantly, he agrees.

Jesus loved me that day.

He powers up the PSP....and it wouldn't boot up!!!!! Oh man, it was beautiful. He plugged it in, nothing. New battery, nothing. It just sat at the PSP intro screen. No matter what he did, it wouldn't go past the intro screen. Turns out, some PSP's would only boot once, which I did at home, and then would never boot again. I got one of these lovely models. This of course meant it was "DOA" and he had to give me a new one! Thankfully, it was, and still is, dead pixel free!
