Autumn Stones are 15mill on Kujata. Haidate is then sold for 50-60 mill.

15,999,999,984G would be the maximum on one character, sans-delivery box money.

Let me save sky from the gil farmer invasion.
Change it so that mobs have a slight (1 in 200-ish) chance of dropping god pop items. So any Groundskeeper can drop a Gem of the West, any Aura Statue can drop an Autumn Stone, so on and so forth.
That and increase the pop rate of the trigger NMs to 2-2.5 hours.
So what can I fix next?

You may think its easier to focus on the gilbuyers than the gilsellers, but the number of potential gilbuyer accounts far heavily outweighs the number of gilseller accounts. Not only that, but there's far more individual potential gilbuyer people (mostly 1 account per person, though some dual box), whereas most of those 250 gilseller accounts were likely owned by much fewer than 250 people.
Consider the 250 accounts that were banned, with 250 billion gil gone with them. How many gilbuyer accounts do you think would have been served with that money?
Now, that is mostly a rhetorical question, but if you want to see me pull some numbers out of my ass, here it goes:
Assuming that an average gilbuyer might buy, say, 10 mil at a given time, 250 bil / 10 mil = 25000 people, which assuming most single-box, is going to be close to 25000 accounts. Let's say I'm wrong, and the average gilbuyer buys 50 mil gil at a time, that's still 250 bil / 50 mil = 5000 accounts.
Which do you think is easier for SE, and less detrimental to the game... banning 250 accounts, or banning 25000 accounts.. or even 5000 accounts?
Give Ulli Promathia style Silence. Add Silencega to many trigger NMs spell list.

Right, that is a really justifiable reason. Triggers shouldn't be manaburned in the first place, why the hell do you think these gil sellers are becoming such a problem in the first place?Originally Posted by Koyangi
If it wasn't for diaga, I could kite ulli around the porter all day on a level 1 job.
Sadly, that was the closest thing to right that the CoP team did in sea. (So close, so close but yet so far.)Originally Posted by Dezzimal

As far as lance the gilseller goes: if you help gilsellers with sky / cop, as far as I care, you are a piece of shit gilseller...and the way osiris shares their accts with each other (think cheap hooker), I wouldnt be suprised if it was indeed Lance controlling Tite that night. I mean, what's the best way to upgrade an Aegis ?? get cheap gil by helping gilsellers through cop...
Pretty sure another post had it right in that the RMT countermeasures aren't really aimed at targeting players, per se "gilfarmers". It seems SE has been more adamant in taking out the accounts and gils that store and bankroll the gil for transfer, the gilsellers mainly. As anyone noticed, and as SE confesses, we'd need monthly sweeps of servers in order to stop gilfarmers, as they can level up from 1-75 in the crappiest gear in 2-3 months and can play for more than 2/3 of the day if needed.
So alot of the emphasis has been the accounts that had been used in trading gil to players who paid for it. I think there is an incentive where by hitting the wallets of the gilsellers and making them take whatever losses possible, when they get tired of selling gil or think the profit isn't there, the RMT would follow theoretically since w/out anyone to supply gil, there is no incentive for them to farm. And most players should realize RMT players only are suppliers and very few are actually capable or able to sell their gil but instead send it to a middle man like Yantis or IGE to do the selling for them.
The initial trigger gathering (well except for Fortitude, a full stack is too much since ghrah M chips are, while not as rare as the other triggers when farmed properly, not 12 times as common) and repop times are certainly the best aspects of Al'taieu. Of course the fact that Ix'DRK can repop 15 mins after dying doesn't mean he can't be retarded and not want to give his damn message for 5 hours, but that hasn't been a problem for us in some time, the Ix have been cooperating.
Its a shame SE can't put all their good ideas together, they always leave some key flaws to mess it up, resulting in gilsellers owning Tu'lia, 100-200 people per zone for every king (hell, NQs too except Adamantoise), weapon only Jailer drops and Absolute Virtue's general state of being.
