They're notorious for being the toughest team in the NFL and you can't expect them not to hit the QB when there's an opening. You're jealous and you're envious of them. Haha you sound like a very angry man. I do believe in your hostility you failed to comprehend the meaning of what I was saying. I am not talking about who won the game but the quality of the officiating. Just because a team can overcome bad calls does not justify those bad calls. It is great for the Steelers, more power to them, that they overcame officiating diversity on their way through the playoffs. That they overcame them does not mean they were not bad calls in the first place.

Can you see the point? A superbowl should be well officiated, more so than any other game during the season. The World Series should have the best umpires, the NBA Finals should have the best refs, etc. Whatever the game, you want the outcome to be due to the play of the players, not by the calls of the officials. I am not saying that the Steelers would not have won had correct calls been made, I am saying that the officiating in championship matches must be held to a higher standard. This includes the game between the Steelers and the Colts you brought up, that game should have been better called as well. We expect the gameplay to be higher than average, why not the officiating? It detracts from the game when bad calls are made (though it does foster controversial outcomes, and provide an 'excuse' as you put it).
