Really in the end, whether they're a NIN or PLD or WAR or whatever kind of tank, it shouldn't matter much what job you are and how much Koenig you have, IMO it should be more about your dedication and commitment you put in the LS. This was said to me by an LS member when I didn't like the idea of lotting it, and since then I've thought of it that way and believe it to be the best view.

Any other server had D Rings drop more than usual very recently? On Caitsith the last 2 KBs both dropped D Rings. One on the 7th and one today the 11th.

Havn't seen one in a good 6 months on Bismarck, and a few months before that, and prolly a year before that lol =\

4 total I think (Minidragon, Winraf, Infest (I think), Laomedon)

Hrm, wasn't a drop on valefor for a good 1.5 years and then our LS got 2 on two back to back kills about two months ago and the first non JP one on the server dropped for us on the last KB pop.

On a side note, has anyone ever really tested the "everyone in alliance should have pixie earring so DRing drops" theory? Or was it never really tested?

They fixed that awhile ago before the claim patch I think. A JP LS that used to monopolize KB has like 5 or 6 rings because they used that trick though.
