    I think what some people were refering too, was when the 1st wave of NAs to the HNM scene had a lot more trouble than people do now. I remember really good LS's wiping KB, nidhogg. Now any random 12 monkeys can kill KB if they have a red mage who knows how to use a gravity macro.

    It is almost annpying for us who remebers those days in AF, before JSE, trying to kill the Kings, and today people with merits have a lot easier time than we did. I do have a slight problem with the drop rate cause there should be no reason to be camping the kings after 3 years. Really there is very little to move people away from the Kings.

    Maybe if you got out of Aery you'd understand FFXI isn't WoW, where everything is grinding or end-game.

    Maybe if you knew who you were talking too, you would know our LS hasnt really hardcore camped a king in months.

    The point is there is a lot to do in FFXI, but NOTHING compares to what you get in SKY and from the Kings. I like this game and have played since Import, Beta and NA release. I just wish there was a point in which we could say ok after a year of camping Nid and KB were done. But thats not the case. Even with sky at one point our LS was pretty much done, members left new ones came in and return to the Sky farming.

    You know if everyone keeps bitching about how the uberest gear comes only from aery that Dark Rider will drop a Polearm that attacks 2-3 times.

    How would that destroy the game's balance? Ridill already does exactly that for warriors.

    How would that destroy the game's balance? Ridill already does exactly that for warriors.

    SE would use the excuse that they can't go back and change Ridill and its overpowered nature. They sure as hell aren't going to give a job that they tried to nerf several times and still failed in doing so a even more powerful weapon. NIN nerf was nothing compared to the TP nerf or the RNG nerf. If SE were to give any job something that big a boost it would be a BST only rare/ex 2-3 hit axe (definitely can't make that equippable by WAR lol). BST, DRG, RNG are more needing of a boost to their dmg than NIN is... still if either of those jobs were to be top DDs, then they would get nerfed back down to reality anyways.

    imo the "NIN nerf" was the TP nerf, the shadow adjustment hasn't seemed to have any effect in the long run

    Ridill weapons would be nice, but there need to be mercurial weapons for all two-handed weapons. Skilling up Great Axe is a little slice of hell.

    I was referring to the multi-hit WS TP nerf... you know where the MNK would use relic knuckles and the 999 delay would allow them to constantly chain Asuran Fists. That spilled over to other jobs and basically raped DRG penta spam. That was THE TP nerf... the shit they did recently was nothing in comparison.. that was a dual wield TP nerf.

    For some reason, I kinda think SE thought ROZ would be the end of FFXI, and didnt put too much thinking into the items it brought into the game. I think if they had the ability to change ROZ with knowing what FFXI has become it would change the items.

    I know people say stop bitching and go play Limbus, I just find it annoying that at least on Bismarck, Vrtra and Jimmy go untouched. While 100-200 people are trying to claim the kings. Just move items around. Why is that so hard. Put items in KS99. I dont care if 100 people on the server have DRings, it would be better than the 4 people we know of who do, while the rest of the world is stuck in the same 3 zones. I would there to be a reason to camp Vrtra, even Cerberus is becomeing a joke, yeah some ppl still want the GS, but what else? IF end game had more choices to camp you wouldnt see the bottle necking at the kings. If you had to choose from 10 HNMS to camp cause they all had decent or equal drops, when the servers come up the entire HNMLS sence wouldnt be in DA, they would spread out.

    Temperance is pretty much a ridill axe, toss in a corsair and it's probably landing the same number of hits with fighter roll. The problem is you can't quiver and the thing just chews stones.

    You want an axe that will make a beast happy you add one with a light staff attribute and add effect paralyze. 2hp/tic auto regen would also be great, add 1 hp/tic at 35 and 2hp/tic at 70. Maybe some jse with actual worthwhile melee stats that could enhance the 2hp/tic to 3hp/tic.

    Latent 12% at yellow health movement increase would also be so incredibly useful for miss-charms. Also add some fucking pets that don't cost a small fortune. Last time I looked a stack of lars was 400k. Lol like that's fucking economical for 15min... Why do you think we use CC for everything?
