You want an axe that will make a beast happy you add one with a light staff attribute and add effect paralyze. 2hp/tic auto regen would also be great, add 1 hp/tic at 35 and 2hp/tic at 70. Maybe some jse with actual worthwhile melee stats that could enhance the 2hp/tic to 3hp/tic.

Latent 12% at yellow health movement increase would also be so incredibly useful for miss-charms. Also add some fucking pets that don't cost a small fortune. Last time I looked a stack of lars was 400k. Lol like that's fucking economical for 15min... Why do you think we use CC for everything?
I'd kick babies down a well for that super axe you speak of. Just fucking uncap more jugs and make them spawn even match and you solved half the bst DD problems. Panzer is basically the same as carrie with slightly better WS, Homonculus sucks (supposedly uncapped), everytime I use a cactuar (5 now, with meditate hats, tp'ing, NEEDLESHOT).

Last time I used Amigo it followed this progression.

    Epigram Uses Call Beast
    Epigram Uses Zoolater Hat
    Sic
    Amigo uses 1000 Needles
    Kirin takes 1000 Dmg
    Kirin readies Astral Flow
    Epigram was defeated by Leviathan
    Amigo was defeated by Leviathan

    ... best 200k I spent

I know people say stop bitching and go play Limbus, I just find it annoying that at least on Bismarck, Vrtra and Jimmy go untouched. While 100-200 people are trying to claim the kings. Just move items around. Why is that so hard. Put items in KS99. I dont care if 100 people on the server have DRings, it would be better than the 4 people we know of who do, while the rest of the world is stuck in the same 3 zones. I would there to be a reason to camp Vrtra, even Cerberus is becomeing a joke, yeah some ppl still want the GS, but what else? IF end game had more choices to camp you wouldnt see the bottle necking at the kings. If you had to choose from 10 HNMS to camp cause they all had decent or equal drops, when the servers come up the entire HNMLS sence wouldnt be in DA, they would spread out.

Yea I agree they need to spread things out. I dont see the problem with Vrtra dropping a D ring its not like he pops everyday or it would drop every fight. Give Jorm like Wyrmal body (lol), M body, Ebody and maybe people will kill them.

My BST is 70, so only 3 lvl's to go until I can use Temperence. I tried it out on RNG...and yes....it goes threw stones like an SUV does gas.

Question: Is the DoT from its double attack and low delay worth it compared to its low dmg in relation to other alternatives? I would love to not have to buy another axe, and stones are easy to come by if you solo Phuabos as RDM. But if the performance is lacking...guess I will have to look elsewhere

RDM/NIN with Joyeuse+Justice Sword is dead sexy btwtbhkthxbbq

Temperance if I had to guess has around a 25-40% DA rate that stacks with DA trait. When I use brutal and temperance as bst/nin I usually attack three times per round and I hit ALT-E if DA doesn't trigger after two rounds.

I have never PT'ed with a corsair with fighter roll, but I'm sure it's absolutely absurd. However, I would rather second hand kabraken if I was solo'ing VT trolls. My haste gear sucks til I finish guttler so the add effect slow is very useful.

Temperance axe is better than having a ridill (on BST, same for war if they could use? don't know), so long as you have enough stones to keep it swinging, simply due to the higher skill. I think had war been able to use it, we'd never see temperance up and alive.

This thing is just sex for a bst, I was tanking due to the amount of swings I was doing, it's really nice. You have to see it in action to understand it. It procs as many times as joyeuse does, and everyone here knows how awesome the TP gain is with a Joy or Ridill. Imagine you had that in axe form

Now the question if it's worth keeping in offhand or not : Considering the fact you'll double attack frequently with it, your DoT will probably be the same, if not, more than you using a higher dmg axe, because it'll let you rampage things faces more frequently. Like I said before, the amount of swings I was doing combined with WS'ing, made the mob fight me. I must have been doing something right ey?

Maguspk is right, JPs just don't give a shit outside of crafting and Dynamis anymore on Lakshmi it seems (or that's how it was before I quit). flipflop was the only real powerhouse that camped stuff (KB mainly for a D.ring for Sleepynight), and some random pink pearl HnaNMs or some shit.

D.ring was rarely seen on Lakshmi when I played, maybe 5-6 total ever on the server and only 3(?) remaining. I'm with Smartdrv on the abj drop rate thing though, 6 KBs in a row from April-May dropped M.legs.

If war could equip Temprance Axe, it would be stronger than Ridill, it stacks with double attack so on war it would be occasional 2-3 same as ridill, but with A- skill, and you could use temprance torque instead of Pcharm since you'd be using an axe in both hands.

Problum would come down to inventory really, until (god hope) they make Stones quiverable.

    Maguspk, Lockecole:

You completely missed the point. Full Koenig doesn't mean much. Sure, if the guy had 0 Koenig, and got a defending ring, that's one thing. That means he's never even picked up the "throw-away" M. Abj in sky yet. However, there was another case earlier in the thread when someone said "some newbie didn't even have full Koenig and got a defending ring" or something along those lines.

All I'm saying, people put too much value on "full Koenig," much more than its worth. Some of the pieces have great numbers, but there is no replacement for skilled LS members. I've seen the damage a full koenig PLD takes vs. a PLD in just the head/hands. The difference is not as big as some people like to make it out to be. If it just so happens that the PLD that does the most for the LS is also the one in full Koenig, then it works out nicely. That isn't necessarily always the case.

Decking out your "full Koenig PLD" leaves your LS sitting on its thumbs when that PLD isn't around. Seems a bit silly. Since apparently you value your "decked out PLD" so much, your LS must've done this because you feel you can't fight harder mobs unless you have your full Koenig PLD.

What is funny is how many LS spend so much time camping Kings, that they are lulled into fighting such easy mobs. Then they take their full Koenig PLDs to fight much harder mobs and their LS wipes repeatedly because they are used to the very tame kings.

I still stand by my original statement:
I can only think of 1 or 2 pieces of gear that actually have a profound effect on a LS's ability to kill end-game mobs. Koenig/D.Ring are not on that list.
    The rest is about strategy.

From what I saw, these people typically never logged off therefore it was impossible they weren't online to use their defending ring.

on Hades, non-JPs who got D.rings are 3.
    Excellence, AS, and Paradigm
i think thats a good number, since Hades is a new server.
for the Japanese, we have i think 4 or so, since the server change.

and many many others, who got from previous servers. just the other day, 2 PLDs applied to our LS with a D.ring that we never heard of before.

All these arguments about Koenig and it's not even used as much as it used to be anymore with the recent perfection of PLD/NIN.

I've seen a lot of both in action over the course of about 2 years in end game, and I've tanked beside both on a lot of HNMs, and I have to admit that really PLD/NIN owns PLD/WAR on almost everything. Even the PLDs themselves I know of admit to this being true, the hate far surpasses the hate from /WAR and it's a lot easier on MP and just the fight overall. A good PLD/NIN setup doesn't use any Koenig, either. I don't think we even use PLD/WAR anymore outside of Dragon's Aery as far as endgame events go, we've even successfully use PLD/NIN in sky. So in the end, what are all these arguments about it for?

Btw, just to add to the drama this may or may not start, I'm a 75 NIN with a level 1 PLD (oh, and no Koenig!) and I have a Defending Ring. As much as I didn't agree with it at the time, I was asked to lot it over PLDs by leaders and LS members for how often I tank in the LS. At this point though since we almost exclusively use PLD/NIN as opposed to PLD/WAR, it wouldn't really be used much more than it is by me by PLDs anyway so it doesn't bother me as much now.

Really in the end, whether they're a NIN or PLD or WAR or whatever kind of tank, it shouldn't matter much what job you are and how much Koenig you have, IMO it should be more about your dedication and commitment you put in the LS. This was said to me by an LS member when I didn't like the idea of lotting it, and since then I've thought of it that way and believe it to be the best view.

I hope DB didn't get that. I dunno what LS Tdogg, the guy who got the ring, is in.

( Yeah, fuck you. THIS IS BG, I CAN START DRAMA IF I WANT! >O< )
