Issues with utsusemi

I'm having issues with utsusemi, it wont let me cancel it. As in, I have one Ni shadow left and I goto cast Ichi and it just wont let me cancel it and Ichi will have no effect. Has anyone else had this problem or know how to fix it

If you're doing it too late, it wont register, or you miscounted.

Ive had 75NIN for over a year now, I know when to cancel it. I just also tried to cancel Protect and that didnt work either.

Normally have to cancel the shadow by around 45% to 50% cast time in my experience to not get the "no effect" message.(I notice this as well during re-sneak while in an agro area and I am able to re-sneak and not get agro besides mobs this way.)

I've had an issue similar, and it's typically lag related.

Doesn't really have anything to do with knowing "when to cancel", it's just that you click to cancel a buff and it outright doesn't cancel at all (even if you're doing it way early.) I've had the same thing happen occasionally with stoneskin.

If you're using custom .dat files for your icons that might have somthing to do with it. When ToAU first came out my friend couldn't click her costume off. (the voracius(sp) liquid thingy in mamook that turns you into a mamool ja) Maybe that has something to do withit

My g/f had same problem yesterday in Mog House... nothing at all was working. However, she was technically in Al Zahbi zone and there was a Besieged going on.
