the lines in the gm screenshot were stretched too far for it to be realz.
No that's just my resolution.
He probably just did that in his MH changing color using echo or something >_> I doubt he actually photoshopped the font or somethingOriginally Posted by TwinkysSister

You can't change the color of echo, for some reason, they forgot to put that category in with the rest of the options.Originally Posted by Kaylia
However, if he's in his MH, or somewhere private where people won't think he's raving mad, he can alternate /s and /tell to himself, with the appropriate amount of filler to line everything up.
e.g.
/s .............. Rykoshet : blah
/t Rykoshet [GM]Ersatz>> blah
then crop the screenshot.
Either that, or use /echo anyway then just photoshop the color.

Personally I'd want my echo to be a blaring bright red ; ;
Seems silly that they'd not allow you to do it. I'd want my echo to be the color of party, linkshell, tell, emote, or maybe even some battle messages (damage taken, given, "___ defeats the ____", etc.), depending on the occasion.Originally Posted by Rocl
I think that is exactly the reason they did that.Originally Posted by Khamsin
The easiest way to fake a screenshot is to just type everything in say and then crop out the beginning of every line that says "Yourname : ".
I wish this never got nerfed. Was the easiest way to make fake SS's, I even used /emote in different colours. I did it near the thief knife camp /em throws away a Thief's knife. but in the right colours(yellow/green) :D The next patch, you see them only on local clientcant send them out.

Bumped to comment on Russta's page 9 DynValk luck:
We lost pull to JPs on the Xarcabard trail markings today and picked Valkurm out over Qufim and Tavnazia and managed a pretty satisfying run, with 10 total AF, which from a CoP zone, helped make missing Xarcabard not so annoying.
As soon as CC died, we saw at least one AF every 5min or so, till the end. The one thing I do like about CoP zones is the pattern in specific mob families dropping specific jobs. It makes it sorta easy to go around farming for what you want, ie. we wanted PLD; we lived on Hippogryphs till one dropped. (Speaking of which, does any site have these relationships mapped out for the people who do these zones? If not, I have pretty good data on our drops to help assemble one.) Anyway, drops were as follows:
Sorcerer's Belt
Warrior's Stone
Summoner's Cape
Summoner's Cape
Valor Cape
Monster's Helm -1
Warrior's Mask -1
Warrior's Mask -1
Assassin's Cape
Saotome Koshi-ate
Granted HQ AF2 is pretty bleh and most capes/belts mediocre-to-good, being able to focus on say Valor Cape here or Scout's Belt on birds in Buburimu for example is kinda nice. It's not like 0-AF2 Xarcabards never happen, certainly more often than 10-AF CoP zones happen; I just hope those stupid JPs had one tonight.![]()
Grats on all those drops, thats a helluva lot better than any non-1st 4 city ones I've done. Any tips on a reliable CC kill? Thats what I really wanna knowI (as is well known) am very interested in CoP dynamis... any more info would be great.
Our LS has never really had a problem with CC. I consider Valkurm and Buburimu winnable with almost no risk now with our approach. The things that scares me in Qufim is a horrible SJ ??? spawn, just being too big of a timesink, and sketchy boss pulls that jeoparize the quality of post-boss farming. As for CC herself, Fairy Ring and Nan'tina dying is pretty standard. With damage AoE, Kirin-like Auto-Meditate and charm spam out of the way, the only risk is Extremely Bad Breath. My theory, though it's tough to test as we've never seen or wiped because of it.. is that she does this WS after a certain amount of time after aggro, 120s, 180s, something ballparkish around there. Correct me if the people who've been sodomized by this WS saw it way sooner than that, but with us, she's never had time to do it. We all just ball up on top of her and kill very DL or KV-like. We're 4/4 on her?.. something like that. I think speed is the key; she's only going to get more annoying and her 2 babies more of a stress on bards, the longer she's alive.
I wanna do valk for our RDMs to get their Hat-1, 3mnd is nice, shame the rest of the af2-1 isnt the same.
Only thing stopping me from wanting to do a serious attempt at it is the bugged CC boss, nothx buggy dynamis. We had a decent run at bubu though.
I don't see you guys having any trouble with CC, at all, Wafik. What exactly are you worried about? '-' We had.. 7 BLMs tonight, and since she doesn't aggro, open up with a wave of Thunder IVs.. just before Thunder IV lands, our tank vokes. Only 7 Thunder IVs took her to 72% (might have been one Chi Blast in there).. so just guessing, in how many BLMs you'll have there, a Thunder IV and a Blizzard IV from each BLM and she's more than dead. Furthermore, she'll only be after you guys for the duration of the Blizzard IV casts, as the Thunder IVs all will take place while she's sitting there with no idea what is about to come her way. Have a BRD Soul Voice and give himself some CHR etudes and slap out a beefed Horde Lullaby as soon as the Thunder IVs land and you guys are homefree.
Unless there is something huge I'm missing in CC that we've never seen, I think Manaburn would take her down relatively painlessly. As for the RDM -1, yeah we would have liked that too. I've never seen it yet, so I'm not sure what to kill. Both the -1 chapeau and -1 roundlet would bring some interest, much more so than autosorted warrior's masks. >_.
