need an anime fix

Good plot. Over all good anime. It didn't stand out as much as some others, but none the less its a good show.

What the fuck is up with this show? I just finished episode 4 and I'm pretty fucking lost.

There was one OVA I did like, something about the last love story on the planet, where this girl goes off to fight some war in space, and the only way she can communicate with her boyfriend was text messages, but the further out she went the longer the texts took to come, eventually it would take like 20 years for a text to come.

I forget the exact details of the ending, but it was good

If you enjoyed that, I suggest you look at The Place Promised in Our Early Days (aka Beyond the Clouds). It's done by the same guy who did Hoshi no Koe, but this time it's a full length movie. And it's really good.

I just watched Beyond the Clouds and I must say, that was probably the best build up to a finale I've ever see...

Each Chapter (Onikakushi, Watanagashi, and Tatarigoroshi so far) is an independant, seperate reality almost. Each has its own telling of the mystery and effects of Oyashiro's Curse on Keiichi.

It's told from a first-person view. During the first 4 chapters you're seeing what Keiichi is seeing due to the curse, not necessarily what is actually happening.

The second 4, although only 2 are supposedly being animated, are "Answer chapters" and allow you to see what was really happening to Keiichi.

Don't be fooled by the name... This story is surprisingly dark and deep, but romantic and beautiful at the same time.

If I had to give this A genre, it would probably be Fantasy(but kinda dark)/Horror(but never too scary)/Drama(but romantic also).

A true #1 in my book.

There are several places to watch this...

Youtube has the entire series, but I highly recomend against this due to the horrible quality.

Torrentspy Has the entire series AND artbook, history + prologue - HIGHLY recomended.

Isohunt has the entire series in High-quality .mkv format, but it doesnt contain the artbook, history and prologue, which I really enjoyed.

I thought the following chapters were just different stories... I guess you could say "seperate realities".

I really liked Samurai Champloo, its easy to get into and has good action and comedy.
