Yea, XP SP1 works fine for me.
The ONLY reason Vista is interesting is it's prettier interface.
But... taking up 512MB fucking sucks...

Honestly. that's not much memory by today's standards, especially when Vista will actually be released.

1GB of system memory is the common thing these days. Vista taking up half of it is fucking gay. Only a small percent of people have 2GB or more.
I have 1GB, but looking to get 2GB now.

Even a smaller percent actually use software that should be taking up 512mb. Mainly only people who use it for work, or people who crank the settings of games up to the maximum.

Does anyone have some good websites for starting Linux stuff? I don't really know too much about it, though I think it would be fun to experiment with. I've built my own comps since windows 95 so I know some basics, but if you get into programming I'm a noob. So any good explanitory/beginner friendly websites out there? I'd like to learn more about it. Thanks.
