He's right for wanting to get out, really. Ramuh's a piece of shit server compared to almost any other one. I have three jobs at 75 and I've been semi-around the endgame scene for some time either fighting or just sitting back and watching.

The currently 'big' endgame shells on our server; ie Darkhearts, TMNQ(newly formed, kinda), CAE and I guess SW basically don't really give anyone else a chance to even progress into 3Kings or their NQs. Now what do I mean by that? The other day DH flailed a newcomer shell to Aery simply because they claimed. There's tons of bullshit drama, emo twelve year old players and people who do nothing but bot the hell out of everything anyway.

Sure, bots are everywhere and that's kind of given; but he's really not missing much on ramuh endgame. Good luck on whatever server you head to and just be happy it isn't this one anymore.
