Yea i get a certain level of noise too, but I usually cancel it out to a degree by adding some blur in photoshop and then if its too monotone in color you can just adjust the levels/contrast to get it back to the color you had before the blur.

that was actually done on accident. i googled a pic for music notes, and found the image you see in the background of my sig. i converted it to monotone and it came out all grungey..i liked the black dots so i added more around the sig to make it more consistent.

Do you still have the unedited Music note layer saved, if so, are you able to isolate it into a seperate PSD and post it? If not can you just post the link to the msuic note file?

Not to re-rail the thread or anything [and that is an awesome sig] but I wouldn't be surprised if those items came up in a ??? Box for Assault.

Assault seems to be a catch-all for random items that nobody has figured or cared to get. It might be some obscure hidden synth that nobody cares to figure out, or a drop off of some NM that SE removed because they decided not to implement in it's final form, then got removed. Either way, they don't exist right now.

Jiang's sig owns. I'm glad I could help him out and for it to have such impact :D

As for the Ray thing- I've been rendering stuff using the same methods Wafik is and a few other people that "pioneered" the 3dmax renders on FFXIonline etc. It's basically a spotlight with shadows using 20 ray samples.
