Sorry, what I meant to say was, "It was Tremors, go check yourself." I just did (in Maze on my 43 whm atm), Maze Maker Rasped me, was -5 until it wore off. Sorry, bud.

Look, it wasn't fucking tremors. It was rasp. I know what it looks like when I get rasp casted on me. It was rasp sure as the sky is blue. There's just something fucked up here.

edit: Suiram, make sure you exit out of the status or equip menu every few seconds and then check again to refresh it. Either you're missing the change in the effect, or it's not behaving the same way for you as it was for me.

edit2: and another reason it wasn't tremors is because worms die before they use TP 90% the time.

It sure as FUCK wasn't tremors. It was Rasp. It was Rasp so many fucking times, and I was really annoyed that I hadn't brought any Au laits to counter the DoT effect, making it so that I had anticipate having Rasp and keep 50 hp or so in reserve (having to run out of range when a Stonega got me to about that number) so I wouldn't die to RASP.

And look up a few posts, I'm not the only one who's observed DoTs wearing off in stages in the last few days. There's some inconsistency somewhere. I don't doubt Nivlikian or anyone's seeing it not wear in stages, but I know for fucking certain I saw it do exactly that. Maybe it's in resistances or something???

Hey man, I'm not disputing the fact that the worms were casting Rasp on you, that's what worms do. I'm just saying they also did Tremors, and that's the DEX down effect that diminished over time. There's only two ways this debate is going to end, and both of them involve you going to Maze and trying it again yourself. You're at work now, fine, it's cool. When you get home from work, I look forward to reading "My Rasp still diminished over time, Pandemonium game mechanics must differ in this fashion from my server's." or "Oh, you guys are right, it is the same reduction in DEX for the duration of the spell."

lvl 40 whm (too lazy to get back on my cor and get out there... atm) rasp is resisted 9/10 times, and when it does stick, it's only for maybe 20 seconds, but so far you are correct, there is no diminishing of the -5 dex. I'll concede this round, but I'll make sure and get back there on a lower lvl job and get one of those good minute or two long Rasps and see if the diminishing is there or if I'm insane.
