See that's the thing, asura doesn't get that ever. The only LS that did that was machina, twice to JP's when I was in the LS, then once at a 6 hour nidhogg to NA LS's, but they stopped doing kings as much as they used to.

Asura is pretty ok when it comes to HNM. The only problem we had recently was Shieikhaz (a.k.a the server joke of a LS) cfh'ing on all adds and doing all sorts of fishy shit, but they only camp what their leader needs, and then stop camping the NM after that (hi defending ring ^_^)

It has nothing to do with e-peen, it has everything to do with playing your job to the best of your ability and being effective at it. If you can survive a latent crit from Nidhogg without Terra/dmg reduction gear, more power to you. If a Taru BLM can't and needs to hit 2 buttons to survive, why the fuck wouldn't he?

Relying on someone else to pull hate before you isn't ignoring e-peen, its just the by-product of someone else dealing more damage than you. Ideally, all your DDs have a similar level of hate simultaneously so that the mob isn't fixated on any single person until they're KO'd; it'll take a bite out of them and slough off enough hate to move down the line until the tank can regain hate.

Alot has to do with the fact that on Asura too many bitches would even call a GM on you if you tried to mpk a gillseller...one of the reasons why our sky is bad is if you try to jihaad them, there will always be a willing scumbag that would be helping them call a gm on you...

For the most part if its a GS ls involved in hnms, alot of people do try to mpk, ks and flail them if it applies, oh and also for shietkass ls (joke ls on asura atm, being ran by the 2 gs loving scumbags that helped gs get to and then teach them about sky..Fuck you napolean and demonhunter)

I guess really you can say that Asura is the land of the pussy (not to be confused with having alot of it, since like any servers, 99% of all female toons are guys anyways )

Gilsellers killing kirin is so OFN on Asura; the first GSLS that killed him and farmed him to death like 10 months ago. Since then a second GSLS has taken residency in sky and after a lot of turf warring with the first, has taken over.

I like my method of nuking for 1300 instead of 1400-1500 without having to worry about drawing hate and not even be able to stoneskin myself because every little action I do draws faf/nid's attention instead of nuking for 1400-1500, and having to worry about keeping my sorry ass alive, because my e-peen was damaged by not doing the most dmg I possibly could.

I don't know why you guys treat Fafnir like it's Bahamut BC or something. All of our BLMs are taru, and on Fafnir, fuck buffs, go sorcerer's ring and all, max MAB and INT and Static/Af2, hope for lightning weather and see what you can put up. I guess it's the equivalent to us of melee putting up 2k WSs on those 100% NQ behemoth days. Fafnir is a playground and the first BLM to put up 2.5k MB wins. After the MB, it's always a fun "oh shit" experience on vent while the RDMs and WHMs try to keep you up when 2 hits is your full hp bar.. I swear I've tanked for like 1500 damage through cure spam when he's not Double Attacking.. and even when you eat the double hit/crit.. 280 xp is worth the lol.. After all, it's back on the tank when we're down anyway and the fight is hardly jeopardized. Granted, all of our BLMs are skilled and can relax and play intelligently when we have to do like 8 or 9 man fights, but I prefer when like 15 are there and we can have fun.

I think I found solution. Put war/nin and mnk/war for similar dmg output, and they can tank when they pull hate.
