Hmmm...Tell me how it was a wipe, 10/18 people in our ally were alive. Forbidden's Diabolos was readieing Nether Blast and 3 of our blms were ES nuking, his 2hr did 312 dmg lol.. we would have killed. Yeah we fucked up a few stun at the end and almost wiped but there was no reason for him to steal when so many ppl were still alive. Apathy has wiped about 4-5 times to it and the last one they killed 10 of there people were dead at the end when it was killed so idk why they are saying shit either.

Why were you guys even there? you lasted what 20min on tiamat? Yeah, we killed the last 3 tiamat that popped.. and LOL@ your ls getting darters at every fafnir camp. you have no room to talk shit.

Ruffles you could have atleast gave some detail. ManaR/OrzCo/NeoNamida are all in some weird alliance. Before they used to all compete, now they all alliance into one group (theres a shit ton of them that camp too) and help eachother with Kings even though all I hear is NN members complaining about ManaR members.

NegurA has camped Fafnir everyday for the past 2 years. They used to claim it like 90% of the time until that patch for claiming. lol I've even seen them win pull with 2 blm and a rdm/war and hold it until more members came and killed it.

KI is like the oldest NA linkshell on Sylph. They claim they aren't a HNM linkshell yet they camp kings like they are >.> Very respectable linkshell though.

BlackRoses is well...not so popular on Sylph for too many reasons to get into, although the majority of them are cool.

Synergy had Topher in it, that is all that needs to be said.

My linkshell atm Summit is only about 2-3 months old if that and we've done 2 kb , an aspi, and a Tiamat. But our leader got a dalmatica and his computer has "broke" since a week after that so we haven't done jackshit. Oh yah, and we won claim on a Fafnir and flail'd it lawl.

Playing casually on some other servers via friends...I swear Titan has one of the most backwards redneck HNMLS communities.

All the major "Firsts" have mostly been alliances of LSs , no LS really does "Internal" Sea or Dynmis(JR only recently started internal Dynamis).
Most successful Sky, Sea, and Dynamis shells are generally shells that specalize in those aspects.
(Like the LS that killed AV wasn't an HNMLS, just a Sea specific LS made of people from a dozen different shells).

Theres no one "Mega LS" on our server that does it all, or even most of it.

The downside is the abnormally high turn-over of LSs.

Many of the top-tier LS's are on thier 3rd 4th or 5th incarnations of the original LS from near NA launch, theres generally large loyality problems, because many people have a hard-time attaching commitment to an LS they know will probably only *exist* for 6 months...
(Unlike an LS like BG who has a partial-trial period of 6 months).

It sadly creates a very "Get my shit at any cost before it falls apart" attitude, which creates a high turnover of members along with LSs themselves.
(and I'm speaking in terms of it being much higher here, then other servers, I realize the same shit happens everyday, its just particulary abundant here).

Edit: It isn't just NAs either, JPs do the same thing, OrzOrz is a JP shell thats a conglomerate of all the major JP LSs who attempts stuff like Grand Wyrms(when they were new), and Sea (they tried AV).

I've been out of the game for nearly a month, so if I'm off, forgive me. These are the shells listed pretty much in order of power on Lakshmi.

TFA - Oldest NA shell on the server, they've killed everything short of AV, including Bahamut v2. They have some of the most decked out players on the server including 2 Shadow Mantles, a Shadow Ring (rare on Lakshmi since no one kills DL), I think 10-11 Ridills, and tons of Dalmaticas/E.body/M.body.

SnD - Probably the second oldest shell (I'm not sure where AI1 fits in), and has done everything but Bahamu v2 (when I left at least), also well equipped members, numerous E.bodies, M.bodies and Ridills.

Eminence - Started as AI, then AI2, and eventually became Eminence, The other HNM shell I was in before quitting. Heavy on pop NM type situations, the majority of the shell aren't fans of the Kings (the camp, not the loot). Skilled players, they've killed everything but KB, AV and Bahamut v2. 2 Ace's Helms, one E.body (congratulations Ridri), one M.body, no Ridills, and I think just 1 Dalmatica still (Lilcheezit). More focused on sea/sky/wyrms than kings.

Forsakenhearts - My first HNM shell. We decked out people in sky gear fairly quick, and moved to kings where we were notorious for botting (I still say certain members did, to this day, despite them denying it), and have 5(?) Ridills to date, some E.bodies, couple M.bodies although I heard one left before I quit, also a couple Dalmaticas. A few Tiamat kills, no other wyrms to my knowledge. Incredibly skilled at one point, they kind of died on the king scene not too long after I left.

WingedSymphonyz - Great guys, lots of potential, big into sky, Behemoth and lolturtle. Multiple Dalmaticas to show for uncontested Aspids, numerous M.legs and M.feet as well, and as Smart said, they still had trouble with Fafhogg when I left.

flipflop - Oldschool JP HNM shell that used to dominate everything, but like most JP shells on Lakshmi, kind of faded out of the HNM scene in early 2006, generally only seen in BD to get Sleepynight a D.ring. Nice guys too, gave me my tongue for my Black Belt. All members incredibly decked out, pretty much at the point of just going for HQ cursed gear (Zork is 4/5 Armada).

ForgottenSouls - Sky shell who tried kings once, and went 1/1 on Ridill with 41 people there, it was given to some kid with NQ beetle earrings and a Nomad's Mantle (a WAR no less).

Continuity - Eh...member of TFA started the original shell, they were heavy in sky for a bit, moved to Fafhogg, got a Ridill, stuck around for a few more weeks and then left the Aery.

Emi and FH kind of tie for power, ditto for Cont and FS.
