My ass that's the norm. We've killed Antaeus, Apocalyptic Beast, and Cristal Champagne enough to know you don't get 3-5 100s each time. A better approximation would be "NO DROP" every time. >_>

Maybe you're being facetious? If so, I fail.
I think my LS is up to 3 wins in Buburimu and Qufim, 2 in Valkurm....

    NO CURRENCY LOL
Then again our thief does get about 15 relics on the low end from the main 4 Dynamis 8) As for his configuration besides the Thief Knife's and Relic hands, also swaps in Fortune Egg for ammo slot(never confirmable but he still feels it can't hurt and most of us agree no harm in it, not like it affects us if he does throw it), Fortune egg from Boyodha Tree, Three Leef Mandragora budd, Wild Rabbits Tail and he said that out of speculatory sake, he has a few Millionaires Desks. As to how this works don't look at me lol! But our highest on drops was San d' Oria with 25 relics and 4 x 100's with max cappacity.

PS. He also mentioned something about Chr being a "white stat" but I honestly forgot as it was late and we were both getting tired waiting for someone to rescue us from being Pod Killed on EvE.

Yeah Wafik, the stacked -HP is really why I don't think it's a very good enmity set.

Some of the enchantments are nice and all, but, let's be honest here, there are plenty of easier to obtain items that also offer some pretty good bonuses' in many of those slots as well, and they give you the bonus all the time.

Personally, I dislike most enchantment items. Some of them certainly can have their uses, high breath mantle is nice obviously, and some others. But in general I think having to do Tavnazia, which is the hardest Dynamis (I haven't done Tav yet, but I am assuming this is true), to get rewarded with a relatively mediocre piece of gear that you can't even keep getting all the benefits from once the charges run out seems plain silly.

I'm not trying to start another "SE's itemization sucks" thread but I think they could have either strengthened the hydra set itself, or introduced other unique effect items that would be more interesting.

Shadow Mantle & Ring for instance I would say are incredibly unique in their effects, and obviously good. And SE has done a decent job in adding other decent 'unique' effect items recently I think, CoP rings I would put here, Apocolypse Nigh earrings (Ethereal in particular), and others I am too lazy to think up. Anyways, I just think the new zones would be far more rewarding if SE had put a bit more creativity behind the final 'rewards' for Tavnazia instead of rehashing other gear with enchantments and giving the set relatively harsh penalties to go with it.

Well, in MMOs, if you're going to itemize correctly, set penalties are a very good idea, and encourage a lot of interesting customization. The only problem is, the penalties incurred from wearing 3kings gear are minimal at best. They had the right idea in Tav, but it's too late now.

Although I still think some of that gear is amazing...+9 Enmity on a body is ridiculous, and IMO outclasses Koenig in a lot of situations.

I was only listing M. Body as the most severe stacked HP loss scenario.

Personally I would find Valor Surcoat to be a better mix of both +HP as well as solid +Enmity. The +Vit, while large, is just overated on HNM as far as effectiveness although so much of tanking gear choices depend on what other gear options you use.

Penalties can indeed be a part of itemization but keep in mind SE has not implemented many sets with penalties. The penalties on Abj gear are pretty minimal as far as what the sets are designed for, adding Dragon status isn't a big deal that often, or robbing tanks of their precious Str & Dex. People really don't even worry about the penalties on them in my opinion. Outside of Abj I can't even think of many sets with noticeable and worthwhile penalties.

So my general point is SE went and designed an armor set with a pretty severe HP penalty that imo goes outside their standard itemization practices which sets it aside as a 'crappy' set. If every major set of armor SE released had various penalties you had to actually worry about then this set would make more sense, but because so few do it really stands out from the norm and doesn't make sense to me.
