Point was if you look at Raineer post (since he knows the situation), the person had BRD at 75, but is blm to LS events, where someone who's only job was mnk would have seen more benefit from it(I mean you arent doing LS activities your whole time logged in), I mean there isnt too much a mnk gets in an HNMLS especially considering this specific mnk was at events, and earned it(but didnt get it).

Your point is moot priran, if he has another job and doesnt even use monk for merits then he's not using it for the only thing it's good for that even relates to haidate, why describe him as a monk at all then. If it's equally useless, then why the whining?

Umm I see one person claiming Hadaite should be used for BRD. That's it. Ryko if you're seriously making an argument for BRD on a 1.2 second lowered recast on Stoneskin, (if you're SPAMMING Stoneskin on a BRD anyway, you're not doing your job correctly anyway) then I seriously don't know what to say. Put down the paint chips or something.

My point is if a LS is actually more concerned with benefitting their events as a whole then lowering the recasts of a communal buffer, while being admittedly minimal, is a lot more than your sidelined monk getting an extra round in every 20 as opposed to just giving them melee hose to get an extra kick in every 20 rounds. Does your LS use monks for events in a way that actually puts haidate to regular use? No, not likely. I'm all for giving items to people based on use but dont delude yourself into defending a pretty petty point when it's likely the most you even see out of your monks for LS events is chi blasting which gets absolutely 0 out of it.

I'm sure any LS MNK would be very happy to see a brd get 1 over them, I mean what's he going to do during all that time there isnt an LS event going on? Chi blast his exp mobs with MND gear? You dont always get gear that necassarily makes you better performer for what you do in an HNMLS, with that mentality, a MNK should only get Kirin's Pole, Sune-ate, and Osode and nothing else, since those are only gears that help a Chiing MNK that isnt found on AH.

Whether or not theyre personally fulfilled isn't the argument here. You cant argue the massive use thing without realizing that how much exp some monk in KRT pulls an hour means jack shit to anyone and everyone in that LS unless theyre in said party and an actual useful job to the LS.

Using monks for chi blast is so 2004; smn do way better TPless dmg with <insert appropriate summon for current application here>.
