The idea of killing NMs to seal a 2hr seems like something SE would love to do, just because the CoP team was obviously doing a lot of drugs. It's very stupid, very out there, especially with the random pop times of DRG and DRK (especially DRG). It smells like bullshit to me honestly, but no one will know until another AV pops and someone else tries it.

Weren't past AVs reported to use a certain group of 2 hours in a chain? Like the same 3 2-hours in a row or something... I don't feel like digging that up, but does anyone remember exactly what 2hours did that?

(edit: also depending on how tough AV is to keep in control, it wouldn't be that hard really to have a small group of people sacing him while the rest of the LS runs off to kill most of the NMs)

The 2hours he chained may be linked in a way, which is why I asked, hopefully the person who noticed that and reported it will see this, and hope he still remembers it <_< no way I'm looking through 200+ pages of AV threads when 90% of it is arguements about a WHM getting a Novio earring or a SAM getting a sash, etc.

Just noticed, From page 1. So you finished what the JPs said to do, fought AV a few times, he 2 houred... wiped. Then on the last attempt, he stopped 2 houring.

Sounds like your idea did nothing, and you dont know why it stopped 2h at all.

I wasn't there when they fought it, but my LS told me while they were holding AV with pld lv.1 hymus!!!!!!, some of them were heading to kill some of the jailors as mentioned, we only killed it once with straight tanking as you can see on some of the ss that was sent be4. 4th and 5th JoL kill pop us AV, so we still don't know on AV pop condition. The main DD still Blms rotation due to MP restriction. The Plds as you can see are top notch, 2 with aegis were the JPs. As for the drops we are still confused on deciding how many points they will be For more info, i am pretty sure Kalyna will post some more once we kill more AV. There were about 60 people(only about 30-40 were involved in actual battle) but not everyone is needed inside the alliance, only the blms and the tanks mostly. So i can see, it can be done with less people without throwing bodies.

From what i heard, the reason why they wiped 1st time because they weren't ready and it cast AerogaV -_-.(AV depop and we killed another JoL) 2nd battle there were no death on the 2nd AV attempt.
The idea behind killing the jailors is only our assumption, untill we kill more AV with the same strat, i don't think we can claim that it will stop AV 2 hr.

Their theory would say it would have to be killed again when AV is up. Which is impossible, since the ??? doesnt respawn until AV is dead/depopped.
