saw this the other day, i doubt the guy got fired.
To this day, I have no idea why anyone would use AOL.

When I first got a PC and the internet it was one of the only ISP's in England that offered anytime internet access for a flat rate fee. Most other ISP's charged you by the minute. I think it was something like 4p per minute 8am - 6pm and 1p per minute 6pm to 8am. Aol back then was brilliant value for money. I think you paid something like £16.00 and you could please yourself. 24/7 access to do whatever you wanted.
Now sadly it is a steaming pile of crap.
Is that a ref in the World Cup?
he's from brasil. he claims he's straight and he only runs like that to spice the matches up. i don't think he's in the worldcup. here's the full video

I thought the video was funny. I wonder if AOL will change their policy of annoying customers on the phone and stuff because for all the people who saw it, that's pretty bad blow to their reputation.
that's funny, but that's how credit card companies and other similar companies work.
i've had similar conversations at least 2 or 3 times. just by telling the repeatedly telling the rep that i wanted to cancel my dsl, she ended up offering me from 30 days, to almost half a year of free internet.
I'm going on 4 years free AOL by cancelling before my "free trial" runs out.Originally Posted by kisada
