Max, there can only be 10 items in a pool at once.
And there is A LOT of uses for them already... 15(soon to be 18)x5 armor pieces + 10 or so other pieces.
Forgot about that...maybe drop coinsacks or 10 piece coins. And though there are a lot, the AF+1 is limited by other item drops and by now many lses doing limbus have all the coins they ever need for those. The earrings\capes are good but people have them.Originally Posted by BRP

10-15 coins a god? Cool, yeah, that'll keep the RMT out.
Max, you are not allowed to be in BG's "fantasy game designer club".
Its still not even close to sky god profit.Originally Posted by BRP
That is a pretty damn good idea. I like Sea now, but it could definitely use a few more items, especially on Tier 2 Jailers. Also, armor in MMOs should always have -stats of some kind, to allow for greater customization and equipment variety.Originally Posted by Koyangi

Nah, when designed right it doesn't become your typical macro gear. If set up correctly, SE could design different sets of gear that would be more useful in different situations. To an extent, this is already the case. For example, when fighting Jorm as a BLM, I tend to load out on -enmity instead of +ele or +damage. A PLD/NIN will use a considerably different gear setup than a PLD/WAR as well. When done well, it won't be macro gear, but instead different sets that you keep in your MH for different types of gameplay.Originally Posted by Kaylia
Your pld/nin will change gear when Jorm is flying/walking.
If you want to make set of gear you don't swap, they would need to cover every task your job is doing in one fight. You would end up with gear you equip all the time, because if they cover every aspect better.
Every BLM you see will rest in errant, than stand up and nuke with weskit, followed by an AF1 enfeebling. That's not diversity.
Of course the PLD/NIN will change gear like that. However, you didn't read all of what I said. A PLD/NIN will be using a largely different gear setup than a PLD/WAR, for example.Originally Posted by Kaylia
I stopped paying attention when you said you were in for damage on jorm and wearing -enmity.

What you said:
Give me an example of the kind of gear you want that would not end up being a macro gear or over used in all situation. Also, armor in MMOs should always have -stats of some kind, to allow for greater customization and equipment variety.
The only thing I can think off atm are elemental resist gear used to fight certain NM, but it still fall in the category of "situational/macro item that clog your inventory"
I'm going to make a political statement.Originally Posted by Kaylia

Where did I say I was in for damage on Jorm?Originally Posted by Siatdiat
You still haven't read it. PLD/NINs and PLD/WARs use gear DIFFERENT FROM EACH OTHER. PLD/NINs focus heavily on haste, enmity, and MP setups, while PLD/WAR will ditch the haste for increased HP.Originally Posted by Kaylia

Ninja with suppanonimi and ninja without suppanonimi isnt really variety either, the system just forced them to pick one of many situational gear.
I really wish they extended the Byrnie line to 70ish like they did with Hauberk, It would be nice to have +5 str +5 vit +30 attack or something similar, with that and maybe some +7 -to- +10 attack rings maybe sushi might be a bit more desirable.
Well, explain to me what other purpose there is in using a -enmity set up on jorm for blm. I guess to make the other blms manaburning bombs and eles die first? lolOriginally Posted by MisterBob
