    Yes.
If you wish to contribute to the thread, get a kopparnickel ore and test it yourself. Armchair researching only helps when you devise something innovative/intelligent that logically follows from the information provided.
Telling us what we should trade, when it doesn't logically follow, is pointless. Help us by coming into the forum and saying "hey guys, really goofily I tried casting Aquaveil/Stoneskin/Enwater and trading Kopparnickel ore on a full moon after drinking a Moval Water.... it didn't work".
    That is a helpful post.
Yes we tried various items together, I tried almost all combinations of the likely liquids I thought might work. If you notice, the item list is rather large. Try some combos yourself.
Keep up the interesting thoughts and ideas... Don't trot in and say we should try Papaka grass cause it's green. Try it yourself, say it doesn't work.
If you can come up with something interesting like the Raffelsia nectar idea, try it or post it. But a random item buyable off the AH?

You're right, and I was going to, but someone recently posted that they just tried it, before I had a chance to get over there to do it.

One or two other things come to mind, I will just go try it instead of going on about it here. (Will probably be an hour or two from now, so will be back later.
    Thanks for the advice.

You can't melee the Scrawled Writing to get it to pop.

I'll try the nectar idea in a bit, right now I'm going to flag the quest where that taru wants a cactus from the canyon to see if that works. If not I'll just finish up that quest to get the nectar and try that. Should have it done in like an hour or two, let you guys know how it goes.

    Scrawled writing pop locations

I have only seen the Scrawled Writing at (G-13) on Fairy in Oldton Movalpolos. Somepage reports that Scrawled Writing has been seen at (I-9), (I-11), and (G-13). I have checked and rechecked but have not seen this Scrawled Writing anywhere else. Can anyone else verify that the Scrawled Writing is found anywhere other than (G-13)?

I have been trying to fish up that Amoebic Nodule (Slime) in hopes that if it drops anything that it might be something useful for popping Goblin Wolfman. I have gotten a .4 skillup so far but no Amoebic Nodule.

It doesn't move because no one popped it.

    Just tried these items:

    Scimtar Cactus
    Cactus Arm (Also tried two)
    Tahrongi Canyon
All 3 of them at the same time

Gonna finish up nectar quest and try that now.

I apologize if a lot of this is redundant, but I just figured I'd throw my 2 cents out there.

The only in-game evidence we have is that when you examine the Scrawled Writing, it says "Me Thirsty." Checking the DAT files near this message I found:

    Code:
Take this. When Moblins and demons go to war, use it for the glory of the children of Promathia!

You cannot obtain the ≺Marker: 7F8101≻≺Marker: 7F8201≻≺Item Parameter 0≻. Come back again after sorting your inventory.

Something is written on the surface of the earth here. It looks like it says, “Me thirsty.”

A chill runs down your spine!

    Nothing happens...

    Hspeed, A! Hstrength, A!
    Hteamwork, A+! Hlooks...F-!
    Hyou fail! Ahahahaha!

    Rwarrr! Sho-ow yourself! I know you're the-ere.
Dra-aw your weapon and face your fate like a true wa-arrior!
Now, the upper lines seem to indicate they are the end of some sort of Quest/Mission with a reward item.

Has it been confirmed where those other dialog lines come from? Do they occur from spawning/fighting something else, or are those Wolfman dialog?

What other Dialog patterns have we seen with spawned NMs?

    1. Bubbly Bernie. Do you even get a message when you check the ???, or do you learn to trade a Quus by talking to a NPC in bastok?
    2. Bomb Queen. I don't even know what in-game clues tell you what to use for this. But the pop items for the NM drop in the same zone as the NM itself.
    3. Hakutaku. When Hakutaku Cluster synth was added, was it given out by the guild NPC as if it was a normal recipe? Does examining the ??? clearly indicate that the Cluster is the required pop item?
    4. Fomor Codex. Tied to Fomor Hate (which has many dialog lines to indicate your current hate level)
    5. Crafted Pop. CoP NMs (Kurrea, Shen, etc) which have several lines of dialog associated with them.
    6. Obvious Pop. Sea NMs ("bring...memories...ghrah" or whatever)

The only thing I can think of is trading a large quantity of waters to the Scrawled Writing. I figure somebody would have already tried this?

Aside from that, the only other thing I can think of is consuming drinks in front of the writing somehow triggering him to spawn. Anyone tried this?

Sorry if this wasn't very helpful, was just trying to brainstorm.

why would you even try those? HERE ARE THREE OF THE BEST ITEMS IN THE GAME OMG MAYBE IF I DESYNTH OR TRY TO SYNTH IT FOR A GOBLIN DRINK I CAN GET A MEDIOCHRE REFRESH PENDANT!
To be fair, I'd kill for a Refresh on my neck slot on my SMN or RDM. I'd imagine PLDs would be willing to pour some syrup on the Goatse Man's ass and get to work for it.
Hell, I'd trade a Valor Surcaot +1 if I had one for this gorget

This is sad, but I know that the Bubbly Bernie ??? says something to the effect of "There are monster tracks here," nothing about Quus, not sure about npcs in town.

I think the NPC that gives the quest says that they were attacked while fishing near the lighthouse. The CoP Pop NMs are a little more helpful, like Shen's ??? say that there are alot of shrimp fragments/remains here, or something to that extent.

Besides the fact that they are both counted as beastmen, do the moblins and demons have any direct link?

The final quest in a series in Movalpolos is about the Moblin conquering of the Demons to take control of the Quadav, Yagudo, and Orc societies.

I don't have time to check this out, but can someone try a rusty bucket to see what happens? Maybe he needs a bucket to take down to the water or something >.>

I don't know why, myabe I'm just thinking too much, but all the loactions of the Scrawled Wiriting lead to the center of Oldton, where the only water source seems to be, since if you look around the docks there's tons of goblin cups lying around and crap.

The ??? mentions the blood, whereas the five eyes I assume you just had to make a logical leap by guessing all the ____ Hakutaku Eyes were related. I'm sure people didn't have trouble guessing they had to synth the 5 Hakutaku Eyes together, given their name. The blood probably took some guesswork as to which blood it was, out of all the types, but blood specifically is mentioned by the ???.
