3. Hakutaku. When Hakutaku Cluster synth was added, was it given out by the guild NPC as if it was a normal recipe? Does examining the ??? clearly indicate that the Cluster is the required pop item?

The ??? mentions the blood, whereas the five eyes I assume you just had to make a logical leap by guessing all the ____ Hakutaku Eyes were related. I'm sure people didn't have trouble guessing they had to synth the 5 Hakutaku Eyes together, given their name. The blood probably took some guesswork as to which blood it was, out of all the types, but blood specifically is mentioned by the ???.

Hmm... maybe the Wolfman works like that.

This is sad, but I know that the Bubbly Bernie ??? says something to the effect of "There are monster tracks here," nothing about Quus, not sure about npcs in town.

quest NPC tells you to trade a Quus I think.

Try wearing the parade cuirass when you encounter the scrawled writing. I don't have this so I can't try, but the names match so may as well give it a go if you have this piece.

More crackpot theories:
Theres a bugbear servingman that spawns near the scrawled writing. Maybe he drops something/something which is undocumented can be stolen from him after you examine the writing. This would fit the bill for why they didn't want that person to come near the writing.

Also have we tried it while wearing (not trading) a water tank?

What i really want to know: Is this Fall on Ifrit a pld or drk 50+ too, would be intresting to know what jobs he has over 50+ to beat wolfman and why he has only beaten this thing once for Ingram (maybe beaten it more often, but 1st view he hasnt beaten it a long time). Doesnt he have any other friends?

Maybe its hopeless, but what else should we do.

We don't know if this ??? is maybe a quested spawn or a spawn with a prerequisite we never mentioned before, i even thought about the idea of wearing special cloths and that we dont need to trade something, but all this is a chance of a "bad"zillion. We even don't know any stats of the mob. All July 2005 mobs were pretty obvious, this is not.

Wolf, thirsty, the positioning near the lake, even the idea to fish this mob out of the water, all those topics didn't help us. More or less we traded all food and alchemy items besides the not to existing gob drink and the luck rune guy didnt write anything else after he posted his sh.. . Noone could say with npcexe hack, he spawned the wolfman, really too bad.
My last idea was trading poison pots and alchemy crap etc. ALL a NOTHING HAPPENS.

Has anyone mentioned, that a scrawled writing. Perhaps he need a better pen, colour or a binocular. Trade a demon pen, black ink or spectacles or eye drops. Joke by side. Interpretation possibilities are to wide. Even the idea with a Clear Blood broth trade or Lifedrinker Lars out was intresting.

We could try all absolute rare H.Q. foods/drinks like Healing tea.
Have anyone traded a Bittern (july patch), a water tank or a potion tank. so on and so on...

I'm very pissed at this Fall. Even when the gob drink does exist as normal item with a secret recipe, after a year of guessing into the blue it looses the funfactor.

Well, before they patched stealing in Oldton, could you steal anything from the gobs there that might have been useful? If it IS true to the CoP pop NMs then it would have to be made with something from inside the zone. I'll look into some newton drops too. And it seems like pretty much all CoP pop NMs have something crafted. Although, Shen doesn't have anything from Bibiki Bay or Purgonorgo for that Matter in the Shrimp Lantern Synth.

I dont think they changed the items that can possibly be stolen, only removed the ability to repeatedly steal from the exact same mob.

Just tried a silver beastcoin with no sucess.

Maybe the Goblin Wolfman is a dowser or something. Dowsers are people who can somehow find thing underground like water, people, minerals, oil, etc. with the aid of certain items, most common is a Y-shaped willow branch or sometimes a pendulm.

Has anyone tried trading 8 full stacks of molvapolis water? It'll only "consume" the amount necessary to pop the mob, unless it works like Ix'MNK (doubtful)

I'm fishing in Oldton to see if i can catch the Amoebic Nodule. Maybe it drops something that can be used to pop him. Somepage doesn't say anything on drops so it's worth a try. (If anyone else has tried this please let me know!)
