I'm fairly certain Kegsay is an idiot from most of my sources and personal experiences. =x

I'm all for getting as many Midgardsormr people to harass him as possible though. =D

Maybe you gotta trade a Movalpos water to a NPC and he turns it into the drink? or maybe trade him more than that ;x just a thought.

People over analyze .dat usually. Something like that would have been figured long time ago probably.

I'm Nagah and am from Midgardsormr. Someone had posted in one of the other threads that Kegsay from my server supposedly knew information for the recipe for Goblin Drink. I was able to finally send him a tell today.

While he is like many other people that "knows" the recipe, in that he wouldn't say anything. I stayed as nice as I could. He gave me an unintentional hint that, honestly, I can't figure out what part was the hint. He just said that he had already said too much.

    >> {Hello!}?
    Kegsay>> {Hello!}
    >> Is it true you know the recipe for Goblin Drink?
    Kegsay>> possibly
    >> Could you give me any hints? :D
    *silence*
    >> or are you going to ignore me now?
Kegsay>> well how can I reply to that lol
    >> lol..ok..
    >> Well, I'll put it this way then, I've been trying different combinations of everything for the recipe for 3 months and cant come up with it...but im sure it's something simple im missing
    Kegsay>> uh huh
    >> so, if i ask you two ingredients for if they're in it, could you just tell me yes or no?
Kegsay>> well, you know, I kinda, cant tell you but you know its been done.
    Kegsay>> sorry =/ been sworn not to ^^;
    >> well, hrm... at least let me know if movalpolos water is in it since it's the one thing I cant get? :D
Kegsay>> well... if you cant come up with the combo and youve been trying for this long, then you must be missing
    Kegsay>> something wouldnt you say?
    >> I would say so..
    >> the only ingredient i can come up with that im messing up on is the water
    >> cus i've tried variations of vegetables, shrooms, and even that weird rumor for fingernail sack
    >> tho, i swear it should be something as simple as yagudo drink too XD
Kegsay>> well Yagudo Drink, Goblin Drink, both beastmen names
    >> oh oh... can you tell me if it's 4 7 or 8 ingredients? maybe something that simple
    Kegsay>> I've already said too much, im sorry ^^;

After that his replies get even more scarce and even more cryptic.. So maybe someone else can get a gest of which part he was saying he gave too much info on? I mean, seriously, I thought I was giving a lot more info than he was.
    --------------

Like I said to him tho, I've been trying for this recipe for 3 months. Someone posted on alla trade skill forums and it's intrigued me since. I have a 94 cooking mule I keep trying things on. So if anyone does want me to try any recipe, I'll do my best. (Though, I accidentally threw away my fingernail sack and really dont want to spend 4 more hours on a chocobo to get another.) Goblin Diggers are bitches. >.>
The guy probably doesn't know how to make the drink and the "I've already said too much, im sorry ^^;" is probably to cover up that he doesn't know anything. Notice that he gave no information at all.

"Kegsay>> well... if you cant come up with the combo and youve been trying for this long, then you must be missing
    Kegsay>> something wouldnt you say?"

This is just common sense, he doesn't have to know anything about the synth to say that.

"Kegsay>> well Yagudo Drink, Goblin Drink, both beastmen names"

About the only interesting thing he said, but it is a simple observation, and probably meaningless. I don't think that they guy knows anything at all.

If he did, why isn't he making a fortune as the only provider of Goblin Drinks? People would be very willing to pay seven figures or more for it.

As soon as I see something like that, I call bullshit.

There's no good reason at all to keep this a "secret" if he really did know.

Ever tried any of the more rare worthless items, like that spelunkers hat or stumbling sandals? No one knows what they're for and they seems pretty worthless so I would hope they could be used to pop something else. Can you think of one that might relate to this mob and came around that patch (although early stuff may still be the pop item)? I can't right now...

It is pretty fucking pointless to keep this hidden since its r/e. Sell the pop item or something but why would you care if other people have the parade gorget if you can't sell it? Fucked up...

There are other items containing liquid e.g.:

Beverage Barrel: A barrel filled with grape juice.
but thats not the point. Point is, it doesnt work.

For all of you, who doesnt have a complete list of items named with Goblin
( only engl dat) and rot-tea (included itemdescription), here my old list datmined after noone did it for me months ago.

If it is really an item in gob drink recipe, who needs a gob whatever referring, these were all. But please don't use things like a Galka Fang sack, those items are only for 100% complete list.

aka the Teethsack works for me better then mandra buds and rarab tails and lucky eggs together.

Rusty Bucket: Furnishing: A rusty Goblin-made bucket
Goblin Mail: Bronze armor worn by Goblin warriors. Due to its odd shape, only Goblins can wear it
Goblin Helm: A bronze helm worn by Goblin warriors. Due to its odd shape, only Goblins can wear it
Goblin Armor: Armor made of cloth and leather. Due to its odd shape, only Goblins can wear it
Goblin Mask: A mask that filters out bad odors. Due to its odd shape, only Goblins can wear it.
Lanolin: The Goblins make these cubes out of fat harvested from sheep wool. It is a main ingredient in Goblin soap
Fingernail Sack: This grimy burlap sack contains a fingernail collection. Used for making Goblin rot-tea
Teeth Sack: This filthy burlap sack contains rotting teeth. Goblins believe that rotting teeth bring good luck to bad people
Goblin Cup: Goblins use these iron cups for drinking their rot-tea
Goblin Die: A die used in the Goblin game "Mithra Tails." The sides are uneven. Goblins don't like to take chances
Crying Mustard: This traditional condiment is manufactured by the Goblins
Silver Beastcoin: The Goblins mint this silver currency. Widely used among beastmen.
Plt. Beastcoin: The Goblins have recently begun to mint this platinum currency
Fish Bones: Only the bones remain of this fish. The heads are a delicacy among Goblins
Regal Die: Goblins believe that a divine power rests within this die. Its name is derived from the legend of a former owner who is said to have taken the throne with the power of this die
Goblin Doll: An automated doll built to resemble a Goblin. Young Goblin girls often use these toys when playing "house."
Goblin Grease: A Goblin Alchemist has brewed this lubricant from a secret recipe.
Galka Fang Sack: A fang-filled bag used by Goblin thieves to relay messages. It is believed that the type of fang (Galka) represents the place of meeting (Zulkheim)
Mithra Fang Sack: A fang-filled bag used by Goblin thieves to relay messages. It is believed that the type of fang (Mithra) represents the place of meeting (Kolshushu)
Hound Fang Sack: A fang-filled bag used by Goblin thieves to relay messages. It is believed that the type of fang (hell hound) represents the place of meeting (Li'Telor)
Bunny Fang Sack: A fang-filled bag used by Goblin thieves to relay messages. It is believed that the type of fang (beach bunny) represents the place of meeting (Vollbow).
Counterfeit Gil: It is rumored the Goblins make these replicas of real gil. However, because they cannot duplicate the magic imprint cast by the Vana'diel Treasury, most shopkeeps can easily spot one
Goblin Cutting: A leather cutting used when making a Goblin coif
Airborne: A firework created by a Goblin alchemist
Air Rider: A new and improved firework created by a Goblin alchemist
Papillion: An organic firework created by a Goblin alchemist
Hob. Chocolate: This Goblin chocolate is especially bitter
Hobgoblin Pie: This strangely baked Goblin pie looks burnt in some places
Hobgoblin Bread: This strangely baked Goblin bread looks burnt in some places
Goblin Bread: The Goblins make this hard bread from horo barley flour
Goblin Stew: A simple, traditional Goblin stew
Gob. Chocolate: Chocolate made using special Goblin techniques
Goblin Pie: A traditional pie of the Goblins
Goblin Drink: This Goblin beverage is a mix of various strained vegetables
Brain Stew: This traditional Goblin stew looks suspiciously like brains
Goblin Mushpot: Goblin hotpots contain many kinds of mushrooms. Proper etiquette is to eat one kind at a time
Goblin Gavotte: BRD Lv.49 Teaches the Goblin Gavotte
Goblin Stir-Fry: A typical stir-fry often served at festivals. The seasoning has been adjusted to meet the tastes of all non-Goblins
Leadafry: This variety of Goblin stir-fry is named after its inventor, Leadavox
    Goblin Coif: DEF:5 ≺Element: Fire≻+5 ≺Element: Ice≻+5 ≺Element: Air≻+5 ≺Element: Earth≻+5 ≺Element: Thunder≻+5 ≺Element: Water≻+5 ≺Element: Light≻-25 ≺Element: Dark≻+5
