I do not believe that goblin drink is the pop item, and I use Taisaijin as my reasoning. SE is very familiar with irony, and decided to flex that particular muscle. I believe that instead of trading a drink, one should trade something that would dry the throat. As well, as somebody also stated earlier, 'why the hell would he attack you for quenching his thirst?' I’m sure this idea was given earlier, but I’m merely restating it and providing more backup for its truth.

Besides the fact that you can only obtain Movalpolos Water from NPCs while the region is under national influence, I don't see any other reason why that should affect whether or not the NM can be popped.

I feel pretty safe saying there is no other NM in the game that requires this as a prerequisite for popping. Ultimately, it just doesn't make any sense.

Now, throughout the whole thread, I don't remember anyone ever mentioning that teas gave the food effect symbol, so I hope that wasn't part of the, "It feels like I'm reading the thread over again," line.

Anyways. For the sake of continued research, is there anyone on Bahamut who has a single Movalpolos Water available that I could purchase? If so, please contact Merryck either in game or through PMs on the forum. Thanks.

That DOES seem like he knows that there's a non-goblin nearby, but can't seem to identify where exactly, and PS2 = no screenshots. It's possibly true.

I remember a long time ago someone posted on some forums that the subskill of a certain crafted item was actually lower than commonly believed, and by doing some things to take advantage of this, he was able to make a lot of money. At the time, I knew this to be true, as I had tested it myself and this was actually how I made money as well, and was pretty worried that my secret was going to be made public.

..however, everyone just said he was a liar; nobody believed him, and the thread died. My secret was safe, for close to a year later, actually.

I haven't been active in this topic at all since I'm just about as clueless as the next person on how to pop this nm but I do know what's been used several times. This text has nothing to do at all with this nm. People have dat mined the hell out of this zone for clues from text and brought these lines up countless times, and countless times they have been reminded it a npc from one of the beastman headgear quests says this. Please do more research behind your ideas before just posting stuff that doesn't clearly lead to something new.

It looks like raw text from the same quest but it's getting pretty late and I don't want to dig through 162+ pages at 3am.

I can say I do recall that the only line of text that people haven't seen yet in Oldton is "A chill runs down your spine!".
