I tried fishing them. Admittedly, I'm a bit below the cap, but the bite rate sucked (assuming the cap is correct - until now, I doubt many people have consciously targetted Elshimo Newts for fishing).

Also, the drop rate from Sahagin is pretty good.

the bite rate for newt is actually quite good. I was using lu shuang with fly lure. It's a lot better than ssg aery
