Parade Gorget: First Post, 'nuff said.

I got Parade Gorget before Limbus. I was doing Metal chip (CS apollyon) we died. When i got raise i had 40% HP it didnt activate; however, when i cure myself to 60% and it activated. Note I am weaken I know it activates base on HP. Saying around 78%+ HP. Idk i am just a bit confuse on how latent works "exactly." No i will not do the math. I suck at math

Apparently a cooker in my LS HQ'ed the drink, but as expected it was still just Goblin Drink.

0/2 helping out an LS mate, easy NM even with its high damage. Almost solo'ed as THF/WHM, but the rest of my party got there at 50%.

Maybe it's like Antlion Trap, no HQ but when it gets HQed the popped NM is different. For Feeler Antlion I'm pretty sure if an Antlion Trap gets HQed the Alastor Antlion will pop on the first Ambush. So maybe Goblin Wolfman popped with HQ drink will be guaranteed drop even though the HQ created item doesn't look different.

Ok well it has to be based off of unmodified HP or something because I was in yellow HP, hit diabolic eye to drop my cap so that my HP was white again, and it didnt kick in.

Popped twice consecutively at the southern location near the North Gustaberg exit.

Going to pimp this on my DRK, now.

Edit: Not sure anyone has said this. This mob is easy as hell at Lv75 (I never missed a swing as a Lv50 THF, and did 15-17 DMG a hit with a Hornetneedle and Corrosive Dagger), but it has a TON of HP. NIN did Blade:Jin for 750~ damage and took it down to about 85% or so, after having already hit it a few times for 70-80 DMG a hit.

Just thought I'd throw that up here.

just wanted to mention the newt that you can fish up on the boat at carpenters landing (shitty catch rate seemed worse than elshimo) also works in the recipe, however, i broke the 2 i caught after successfully synthing like 50 drinks with elshimo so who knows.

spawned at I-9 4 straight times, none of which dropped the gorget (we didn't claim any of those 4), then it spawned at G-13 and we managed to pop that one and it dropped

edit: looks like the MP+10 is latent as well as the refresh, even though it doesn't say MP+10 after the words "Latent effect", and the latent is kicking in for me at 85% or above HP, with no +HP gear on my 52 DRK

I just did some testing.. it has nothing to do with unmodified HP. I played around with my HP and found its above 80% of whatever your current maximum HP is.

As I tried to explain last night, and earlier today, it does not appear to be a fixed HP%. Nor is it a fixed % of your base HP. The best way I could describe it based on what I've seen is that it's a variable % of your current max HP that starts at 85% when your current max HP = your base max HP and decreases as your current max HP rises. So basically the more HP+ you tack on, the lower the HP% you need to achieve to trigger latent.
