Sorry but I'm not trusting a test of HP% with a variable of just 80 hp difference from gear/food. Unless I misread, you said your test "proves" it activates at 85% including HP+ from gear. That is crazytalk mister, considering I had it active at 75%. Moonphase theory might be something but uh...85% theory is not 100% correct. lol
This has probably been answered, but there are about 30 new pages since 2 days ago lol. Is it 1 MP/tick, and does it stack with all other forms of refresh?
1/tic, stacks with verm cloak, spell refresh, job trait refresh, juice refresh, sanction refresh, etc.
I read it stacks with PLD auto refresh as well as sanction, so 3mp/tick.Originally Posted by divisortheory
Yes, it is 1MP per tick, and I haven't tested it yet, but I'd say it probably stacks with Refresh and Ballad. I'm not sure about Auto-Refresh from PLD, though, considering this item was in the game before the update to PLD to give Auto-Refresh.
Edit: Damn, three posts at 8:37...on the ball tonight, folks.
With a base of around 1480 something (I can't remember what 75 Galka PLD/WAR Base HP with 5 merits is), I piled up some HP gear and got to around 2050, and I had the latent still active at around 73% HP (my numbers on the raw HP are off, but I do remember the 73%).
I was doing this in town so I didn't have any mobs to hit me, but it's definetly based off Base HP and not HP from gear.
I guess this gorget can give PLDs a reason to pile up HP gear again
@ Divisortheory : Yes it stacks with all other forms of Refresh gear/spells, and it's 1 MP/tic
so theoretical max now is:Originally Posted by SephirothYuyX

1 - Auto-Refresh
1 - Verm Cloak
1 - Sanction
3 - Spell Refresh
7 - Relic Bard
5 - Evoker's Roll of 11 with SMN in party
Total: 19 MP / tick?
Post numbers, including Base HP, HP from gear, and HP from food. Do the calculations, but even so, post them here so we can see the data for ourselves.Originally Posted by DeadLegend
I didn't say that my answer was 100% absolute, but it's enough to make me happy.
Don't forget Evoker's roll.
Throw in a RDM just for shits too.
i think that's right nowOriginally Posted by divisortheory

Actually I guess you can squeeze another 2 points / tic out of it if you use an Amrita instead of Spell Refresh, but that doesn't really count. Otherwise, yea I think that's it. 19/tic is fairly ridiculous, lol.
Add in Soul Voice for a little more
2/2 on the Gorget.
piss easy NM, thank god not many ppl in Hades know about it yet.
i just say 2 NAs camping, and lots of JPs.
Market for Elshimo Newts allready died
I've got like 20 rotting on mules now lol
Mithra PLD/WAR Base HP+3 merits: 1266, using various poison pots for test, and a turtle soup. My hp is gay because I sold a few things recently <.<
1266/1711 Refresh O, 100% base, 73% total
1266/1882 Refresh O, 100% base 67% total, used food.
1241/1678 Refresh O, 98% base, 73% total, food, less hp gear.(edited in)
This is the exact moment Refresh stopped.
1249/1882 Refresh X, around 98% of base, 66% of total
Full Moon 98% darksday.
edit:
bolded for emphasis lol
lol @ moon% being a factor?
nah it kicked in again once I took off some hp gear and 1241 represented a higher % of total.
edit:
day changed to fireday 95% full moon with the same results.
edit:
another test, with regular gear+turtle soup on the 95% full moon fireday
Refresh wore off at:
1211/1678, about 95-96% of base, 72% total.
and once again...bolded for emphasis lol
If someone is any good at math they can probably make something of this but all I can do is supply the numbers, I am awful at all kinds of math. I'll cancel my food effect and try to duplicate this with more non-food tests or fixed hp+ food tests.
It would be easiest to isolate the variables.
Test 1 - No HP gear, no food.
Test 2 - As much HP gear as you possibly can, no food.
Test 3 - Highest HP you can get from food, but no HP+ gear.
Test 4 - As much HP gear as you can, and the strongest HP food.
For each test say your Base, Food Bonus, and Equip Bonus. I would suggest never including Mantra in any of these tests, but if the same person could do all 4 of those tests it would probably be the most effective way to get some exact numbers / formulae.
