Its funny in the past when people said how easy it was to get rid of gilsellers, I always said, yeah wait till they ban players who hold LS banks. People than said that would never happen. If your going to go after the sellers, your going to have legit players caught up in the situation.

Almost makes me glad that I am always poor and I barely touched 5-6 digits .
It almost gives the impression that in those large bannings SE just used the most simple criterial possible without doing the actual work of tracing the money, and probably didn't care about who they actually banned but how much gil they could eliminate from circulation.
    That's kinda sad
Did you try to get the mule unbanned?

I don't know why this has not been done... but then again this is what would make sense right?

dumb question but instead of putting all your gil on mules why dont you just keep it on you? Who the hell needs over 100 mil anymore anyway. Prices for most stuff isnt that high anymore since all the banning SE has been doing. Also if you have a ls coffer instead of hording 100s of millions why dont you give it to the people that help support that ls coffer. Ls coffer i could see maybe 200 mil(maybe a dark needs a kracken club or 2). Most stuff you can buy members isnt that high unless you cant farm the stuff needed to make some of the items. Then you have dynamis thats 2 mil a week. I dont know i just dont see why people need all this gil in the first place lol.

OMG GOBLIN DRINK IN BAZAAR FOR 99,999,999

(anyone that actually is used to having a lot of gil should be able to relate to that)

As for that, see MillerLite02 in the crafting forum.

This might be a nice time to mention that CoH(/CoV) is mostly free of RMT thanks to the simple design decision of making ingame currency mostly worthless.

Now if only the game itself was good.

Maybe SE doesn't like rich players measuring their e-peen by the size of their gil balance too ;3
LS banks should probably sell/split instead of amassing 100M+ on an account , risking getting banned.
For players that rich, investing your gil in tradeable HQ items or lolRelicCurrency is safer.
If money from gillionaires is forced into circulation, its getting slowly chipped removed by more people spending it through AH transactions/chocobos and spending it on craft materials available at npcs.

I'm mainly annoyed with SE not banning the jeuno mules shouting 24/7 that they have rare/ex sky drops like byakko haidate available for sale.

LS banks wouldn't get up to 200 million through normal use if we were able to send gil out reguarly, however, this is no longer the case. It is rather time consuming to trade 100 million between 35 players twice a month.

In any case the LS banks that have been banned are probably due to people using POS.exe or MrArgus on a different account with same credit card. It'd be pretty embarrassing to admit you just got 200,000,000 gil and a bunch of sea POP items deleted because you couldn't stand the 15 min ride from Jeuno to Dragon's Aery. Gilsellers, like the Communists or the Jews, are always a great scapegoat.

Back when HNM were JP onry NA GTFO, the JP LS Armada used to have people form a congo line after the kill and they would distribute gil to each person in line. One of my LS members got in that line and whoever was distrubiting gil didn't notice and traded him a share. There was much laughter following.

oh bullshit, make gil disbursements between fafhogg windows or after you wipe/lose claim on some HNM 8)
It would make sure people attend events with regularity if thats the only mechanism to 'get paid'

edit: lol sols beat me with the armada example

Or maybe Square wants people to RMT that gil into real money and send splits through the post office.
