i can trump your Amood with Bahamut's Zaghnal.

with all the things necessary to obtain this item, clear all of CoP, RotZ and Ouryu, what retard decided it should have 24 damage?
really, that was just a sick joke for a ridill alternative

It's a sick joke for a Fortitude Axe replacement. The jailer axe has higher damage than the Amood's latent. So, if you want a triple attack axe (Oh snap, Amood can't even do that) that works all of the time (stones, w/e), you go with Fort. Amood's latent is so sketchy and rare it's not even worth considering as a multi-attack weapon, even if it's consideralbly weaker than a shitty jailer weapon.

Tha base damage without a latent is only 88, the same as a martial weapon, that alone tells you how crap it is for G.Axe weapon skills.

Bahamut's Zhagnal at least offers something new, even though it's pretty pointless. Amood offers nothing new at all.

    Bahamut's Zhagnal > Amood.

Too bad zaghnal is 3/5 the damage of ridill, 2x the delay of ridill, and 2 handed to boot. Amood helps you resist viruses man. Resist. Fucking. Viruses.

The main problem with FFXI is obvious, they do not add content quickly enough. Lack of content means they have to make drops frustratingly rare. That doesn't generate RMTers however, what generates RMTers is an in-game economy working better than the US/China economy.
Every game has RMT but there are MMO's that are way better than others when dealing with this issue. Earth Above and Above just utterly failed in this area. Last thing I really need is to see every player having all the endgame armor they want, as much as I'd want it But other MMO's (and I'll toss Eve-Online on this) do deal with RMT way better. Hell, there are corps in RMT dedicated to the killing of RMT and players who use hacks

Well FF has done a decent job of dealing with RMT, their response to the issue was horribly slow, I mean they only seemed to deal with it the past year since how long the game has been out? And their slow response has allowed the RMT to make huge advancements into sky, kings and sea. IF RMT were at least more aggressively attacked before, SE would at least have better ways of tracking and determining who is and isn't RMT and what responses work. The fact that they'v been hugely aggressive only the past 6 months means they are playing catch-up on how to deal with the issue now when its already too big for them to deal with.

I know it impossible to deal with RMT 100% but they just fail too much that whenever an RMT gets eleted or ban, they lvl up a new character and in under 2 months are all set again. The fact that the RMT can take this attitude and choice shows that they don't care what SE does because they know they can win and benefit more in the end.

The big issue is that the content doesn't scale to more than a few hnmls's. So there is monopilization for many items that have no equivalent sidegrade.

Forgive me forgetting something as gamebreaking as Resist Virus. My point still stands that Bahamut's Zhagnal has more to offer (and that's extremely little) than Amood does.

edit: If they would have made the latent active under 100tp, it would have been pretty kick ass and actually viable to use in a lot of situations. But, they didn't so it stands as one of the items with the best looking stat boxes and least useful real world applications.

aside from lol@ffxi real world, its the same league of shit. At least amood is good for farming the buffalo floor in limbus and bonnacon.

Bahamut's has potential, but SE should just wake the fuck up and raise the damage by at least 20 or something. If SE went back and just made 1/2 the armor in the game useable(DRG JSE set giving a lot of Haste and STR, Amood latent being under 100 TP, Bahamut's (and plenty of others) getting their damage raised).

I'm not asking for a Ridil, I just want any piece of armor +70, maybe +65, to have a damn use.

    PS.

SE should boost Relics a bit... give TP regen(while engaged, 3 a tick for 1h, 4 a tick for 2h, doesn't stack, sorry RDM) for all weapons(Shield and Instrument can get a HP Regen, but who cares) and/or a Martial weapon effect. I believe they made the cap too early on the best weapons.

The chances of king abj being sold from an NPC are slim to none.

So you'd prefer to camp completely overcamped, botted kings with an often slim chance for claim over an instanced fight?

Assuming your sig is correct I fail to see how that would even affect you, unless you like feeling uber lugging around those Shura Feet.

My server is big time RMT... I can just imagine some of the shitty ass players that would just pay a bunch of BLMs to go get koenig BPs for them and just give em 100 mil

How about add another stage of upgrading relic weapons, and you get a cs that says like "ok we were fucking with you last time, lol. Heres the real weapon" when you complete it.

Meh, wouldn't just mean more work? The weapons are... okay... but they should be REALLY god damn interesting. Maybe 250 WS points-an additional +20 attack, 500 WS points-a TP regen, 750 WS points-crit rate goes up by at least 25% on that weapon. If these weapon could do this, then they can make some kickass weapons with high dmg and stats, because the cap for weapons have been raised.
