Sorry to ask a question I am sure has been asked somewhere. I've searched but had no luck. Was wondering if somebody has it linked or could point me in the right direction of a guide to solo'ing limbus as a black mage. Thanks!

Tried doing a search about this, but couldn't find anything. Does anyone know if the Moblin WARs (and/or RDMs) on the first floor of Temenos North are susceptible to Gravity, Bind and Sleep? I'm thinking of soloing them for the Temenos SCH upgrade material in the same vein of NINs soloing for their upgrade material, but if they're not readily enfeebled, I'd like to know. Thanks!

They can certainly be slept, and Elegy lands on them, but I don't know about Bind or Gravity.

Been doing this on scholar since mats were added for the job. Like it's already been said, they can be slept easily. Gravity and bind land quite easily too. At least, the warriors can be. Haven't messed w/ the rdm's yet.

I'm not certain of the differences/similarities between Desperate Flourish and the Gravity spell, but when I solo this as NIN/DNC, Desperate Flourish almost always lands on the RDM mobs (I grav kite Chainspell). They don't seem the least bit resistant to it. Hope that helps...

Just did the Mimics /ra trick on SW Apollyon, worked great :D Was able to manaburn the zone with rdm blm blm brd. Thanks for the info.

If a person pops a chest, and everyone else is standing back and one person RA's the chest, you can move away from it and it won't draw in. So you can just run from chest to chest doing this and avoid fighting them at all. They DO still aggro and draw in if you get close enough, though.

I had a rdm with darts stand ~24', he had some issues being able to get his ranged attack off, so have SS, blink, etc up when you try a chest. This works also in Ilrusi PSC assault... but who's still PSC these days ^^;

I'm a little unclear on the procedure here. One person pops the chest, a second person uses a ranged attack from max range, then the first person is clear to run away? Do you have an estimate on the aggro/draw-in range after everyone escapes?

Yes exactly, the first person is free to run away. You have to get pretty close to get drawn in, it's never really been an issue when we do this run.

We need DNC and BLM items and that's the only place when you can get it on 1st floor...

Blm + Rdm can easily do a few floors.

Just telling a little story/experience here.

I think from all the zone that can has possible astral flow, BLU is one of the best job you can bring. With Diamondhide + Diffusion Saline coat, you can pretty much walk away with 400-500 dmg max when they do Astral Flow

How do you handle avatars if they pop in Temenos E while manaburning? Are they slow enough to kite and nuke? Grav/bind/sleep?

Ifrit isn't too bad with gravity on him, and bind works too. I don't believe sleep does, but I'm not 100% sure.

Neither gravity nor bind work on Shiva, obviously, and she seemed to have no trouble keeping up with my COR with Skadi boots. She's basically the end of the road if we're doing this BLM+BLM or BLM+COR. We normally only try to get 1-2 loot chests, not win; it'd be nice to figure out a good 3-person setup for more chances at Temenos BLM items. Apollyon NW is so easy to clear (killing Pluto, Faf, and KB) as BLM BLM COR, but I'm not sure there's a Temenos equivalent, even with lots of job flexibility.
