For the 100fist krakken, I think you can grav it iirc. If you can't, just kite it in circle around any obstacle (bad pathfinding ftw)

Corse NM is the only one that scare me. 4 ppl isn't a lot if one of the 2 tank get charmed.

Clear mobs until the gate open, kill the boss and move on to next floor. Skip the turtle boss since it regen too fast and your spell won't do anything. Grav/bind kite fafnir, and ES+sleep it every few nuke to reorganize.

Or if you don't have a BLM job, you can go the classic NIN/WAR + RDM/WHM combo.

For beginners 1st, 2nd and 3rd floor you kill until vortex opens. Kill all Wyvern and all 3 Behemoth for an average of 28-30 coins. Avoid all bosses.

My best duo was 38 coins. We cleared all mobs except the Ghosts. Sometimes we also killed Pluto, but time is tight to clear all other floors then.

I still have trouble to believe you got so many coin with this setup.

Ghost, buffalo and buggard never drop. You will see 1-2 at most per floor. First 2 NM will only give you 2 coins too. That's 8 coins on first 2 floors on a good day (6 since you only kill pluto). Add 1-2 coin on buggard floor, 10 on wyvern, and 15 on behemoth and you get. That's ~33 coins total.


Do you ever fail at reaching last floor too? Ghost might not be too hard to tank, but they still have a ton of hp (11k) and decent def. Dmg while tanking solo is never too good cause of utsu recast too. Do you have enough time to kill 5-6 when portal doesnt open?

Buffalo have like 9k hp, like to double. Not that hard, but killing all 7 every time? Buggard are easy, but they still double often and hit like train,is it possible to screw up and die? Wyvern are like buggard with higher hp, and another WS (radian+ double ftl). Behemoth triple attack and hit hard.


I'm not saying I don't believe you, I never seen a nin in action, or any melee for the matter in a long ass time in this limbus. But is it as easy as you make it sound, or chance of wipe otw is still high?

I do ridiculous amounts of damage to pretty much everything up to wyverns then it comes down to normal as NIN in that run and I don't think I could ever duo it with a RDM/anything and get 38 coins.

I mean feel free to prove me wrong but ridiculous amounts of damage on mobs that have 7-10k HP is still time consuming.

I'm not 100% sure but I think I've done ApoNW with 2 BLM and won. Mind you, we skipped the first 4 floor bosses to try and get as much time as possible for KB. The reason I'm not 100% is because I did Limbus with 2 different statics, one being BLM BLM RDM and the other being BLM BLM. <3 getting an average of ~100 coins per week :D. It's a shame coins are worth crap anymore so I don't really farm it (hard to sell, not worth the time/effort). I have a few friends get sea not long ago so I might do it again to get them coins faster.

Yeah, it's very possible to win with 2 blm (won a few time with 2). However, you still need some luck with portal on first 2 floors. 3blm should be able to win every time if they skip fafnir, and most of the time if they kill it. I just went with the safest setup (3 in this case) to win most of the time.

Well we got really lucky on the 38 coin run. Almost every mob on the first stages dropped and all Behemoth dropped 6 coins instead of 5 (They can drop 5 or 6). As I said, the average is more like 28-30.

We failed like 1 or 2 times, due to first portal being a bitch. Ghost are really the worst stage of all. But usually portal opens after 2 or 3. If the RDM helps with nukes, they are not that bad.

Buffalo have joke defense. Even without BRD I did this.

Usually Jin damage is like 600-800 on them. Again RDM helps with nukes. Bugard have pretty bad accuracy and die in like 1minute due to very low HP. Jin is again pretty good damage.
Yes, Wyvern suck and can be a pain. RDM needs to focus on Silena and Paralyna. They have high def and hit like trucks, but with RDM enfebles sticking and some decent evasion setup, you shouldn't have any problem.
Behemoth can be a royal pain. Insane defense, alot of HP, Double Attack and Triple Attack, Thunderbolt... But you can evade alot of their attacks as well. I'm usually ichi only tanking them and saving Ni for Thunderbolt or emergencies. If you got unlucky they can one shot you with Triple Attack. You either wipe or have the RDM Gravity and Bind it until weakened wore off.

There is always a chance to wipe. And you will need skilled people. I was always duoing with a fully meritted Taru RDM with pretty good enfeeble equips and stuff. I'm also almost capped with merits. I'm using my usual evasion setup for this Limbus with Enmity+ gear swaps for voke and a WS equip set.

It's not very easy, but it's pretty much the most fun you can have in this game. IMO

Sound more believable like this. Didnt know some of those mobs have shitty acc. Having tanked them a few time on blm/nin, I know for sure I couldnt do it on war, but if evade gear work well, it's probably doable like you say. Afterall, you have 30min more than a blm team going for fafnir and KB.

It's not very easy, but it's pretty much the most fun you can have in this game. IMO

For Apollyon NW, there is a way to get off tier 4 nukes on Kaiser Behemoth while it's still chasing you. There is a little part of the terrain that makes Kaiser take an absolulely stupid route to get to you while keeping it out of range where the AI tells it to cast Meteor. near the bottom of the post where the simple-is-best map is. I was able to solo Kaiser in about 30 minutes 15 seconds using this trick and win the zone even after dying once. Typically if I choose to solo this zone for coins, I'll rush up the first 3 floors like normal and depending on time remaining (portal luck), I'll either try to hit the 4th portal and go for the win or just kill all the dragons for coins and stop after the 3 Behemoths have died. I think I can win the zone solo roughly 1/3 of the time now.

I'm sure you could speed up a Duo kill a bit using this since both BLMs can be nuking instead of just the one w/o hate

Also, how do you kill the 3 small one solo? Your manapool is enough? I know bind can last a while on those, but they still take more than a few nuke usually.
