I'm out of place, but perhaps I don't understand why anyone would want to buy a character where most everything is done for you already. What would you do, just run around looking cool?

The worth of things like the abj gear/defending ring/etc isn't so much on the item itself. It means something because you and your hardworking linkshell helped you get this item and you wear it with pride (or stuff it in your mog locker on the useless abjs)

If I ever quit I would offer my character up to my closest in-game friend (who helped me get much of my gear) or to my LS who would appreciate the effort they put in to getting me this gear. Or I would find the most scenic zone i can find and logout there forever without stripping the character. I wouldn't give someone the oppertunity to buy my character.

What I liked is how you could get pissed, chuck the controller through 3in drywall pull it out and it still worked just as new.

I'm on I think my 5th PS2 controller, and I know I'm on Xbox controller number 3.

I haven't thrown a 360 controller yet so I'm not quite sure on its stability yet.

I had the big ass joystick one. When you would rest it on your knees while sitting with your legs crossed, you'd get this really deep red line in your skin that hurt like fuck whenever you moved the controller. NES is the devil.

So 10+ pages later, no details on why this toon is going up for sale? What is sad is that "uber gear" that was available in 2004 is still the best gear out there today. That was a poor development decision.
