As soon as they start goin down and that shit goes white its fair game. If it's CFH, first LS to get claim once it goes passive+white gets it too. F randoming!

On the serious note, randoming for claim would be ideal in a perfect world, but as we all know, FFXI is far from that. There will always be one LS or one time where people just decide to ignore the rules, which is why it will never ever work and people who set general "random for claim" rules will always fail. I honestly think a "every man for himself" approach avoids drama more than "lets random for claim every time someone wipes or cfhs". Randoming for claim on a case by case basis works well too, since you have the option of accepting/declining it without causing drama either way.

Well, it was more of a warning for other LS's, cause FI are gay and whatnot.

Edit: Bahamut usually always randoms after a wipe, wiping isn't so common so it doesn't happen often (cept when new LSs claim stuff and wipe) and it keeps/kept things civil. But FI too long has ignored rules when it best suited them and made up BS rules when they can't have their way.

Bahamut is a civil server, or was, there were even LSs that gave back NMs after claiming glitches.

Asura generally randoms after initial claim, assuming it's only 'respectable' shells in zone who all agree. Kinda saves time and lets us GTFO.

and for the most part its always worked. occasionally (maybe a handful of times in the last year maybe) there's been some drama but overall things are pretty peaceful.

Was phalanxx at aspid? I mean, I can see this taking place if he wasn't there. A lot of his members are cocky but he seems to take control and do the right thing when he's there.

We thought they might kill it anyway but they didn't and eventually it went unclaimed, as we tried to set up a /random with FI they suddenly claim it and start building hate. We're still trying to set up random and they give us some bullshit about not randoming with us.
