The trouble with this is that the pool appears for the whole zone inside Dynamis, but only parties/alliances outside of it.Originally Posted by Lordwafik
Well, I didn't get it and I had lotted an 8xx >.> I have NIN for solo so it didn't really bother me that much..would have been nice to have though; since we very seldom do non-Dynamis Xarc(farm DL) zones, much less Beau..I think we were there for someones attestation..
The thing in question is a 100 money though, so money makes people lie.Originally Posted by Lordwafik
I wish SE would just make the item go to the current highest lotter upon receiving the out of time message.
Hmm that slipped my mind. I guess you're right, considering mobs in limbus also have the ability to turn purple, unlike in dynamis where you operate as a giant hybrid allience-party.Originally Posted by Ichthyos

You'd think that SE could code something like that. Yet they won't. Things are a time sink for a reason, and little "quirks" such as these just serve to make you cry and whatever but they just make you go back again and spend another 3.5 hours in Dynamis trying to get that item instead of moving on to attempting to get another.Originally Posted by Setats
Yea, if crafting items are part of the pool and it is holding 10 items, when currency drops next mob the crafting items are distributed first to the highest lot in order to make room (Why you have to be quick to lot on the stuff you want <.<). And currency will be kicked for AF2 (if, heaven forbid you should fill up the pool with 9 AF2 <.< most we've had was 4 :s)Originally Posted by Eaglestrike
As for auto-sorting after the run is over, I've been the 'last person' a couple times, and as a result recieved the items that were in the pool. They are only lost when they person that was to recieve the item has passed. It why unless everybody is there to pass on currency during the last 3 minutes, it's best not to since currency can be traded to sponser (AF2 you're just SOL :s). If the person that it was going to sort to passes, it's lost. This also applies to AF2 (picked up Assassin's Bonnet in Windy this way). Somebody posted how the 'last person' is determined above, I don't know about that, but there is somebody who will (or would have depending on if they had passed) get the loot in the treasure pool.
I have a screenshot of "you do not meet the requirements to obtain <item>" after a dynamis (I'll dig it up later, too tired atm). I was the last person to get kicked, but because I had passed on the currency and the AF2, I was able to recieve neither. This means that even though we had afk people that hadn't passed, I still would have gotten the items. To my knowledge, dynamis has been like this since the beginning.
Some weird shit happened to us today in Dynamis-Bastok. We were fighting at the AH, and suddenly a BLM randomly died, and the whole alliance ended up damaged and gravitied. No stones, and no NMs, nothing in the chat log for anyone. It seemed to be that WS that the NM Quadavs have, but none were there, obviously.
The AH repops have Wrath of Gu'Dha or whateverOriginally Posted by MisterBob
Sometimes the BRDs use Wrath of Gha'ba or wtf ever it is when they get TP.
The last person was probably someone that passed it, so it was lost.Originally Posted by Lordwafik
That's kinda funny if it does work that way, because if you lot then dc your lot (or pass) returns with you.Originally Posted by Viq
Recently we saw AF2 drop at the 30 second warning, and it was lotted but not everyone passed in time. It found its way into the inventory of someone else, who was prone to dc's and was likely the last in zone by your definition. I just assumed it was because his machine/connection was so crappy that it took him a while to exit the zone. I guess that wouldn't make sense though because it doesn't matter where you are on your machine, it's where the server says you are.
Yup, people in my dynamis linkshell have experienced the same thing. If you don't want the items to be lost, everyone who passes needs to leave the zone in case there's someone afk.Originally Posted by Coren
To my knowledge, dynamis drops used to be lost, but some time last year it was changed. If the drops were always autolotted to someone those people never spoke up about it.
The "last person" is the last person to zone into Dynamis. This usually is the last person to log back on after d/c, since I have yet to go to a run where nobody d/c.
I passed an AF at the last minute, and it was sorted to me but lost since I had passed it, and got the message "You were unable to obtain.."
Are you sure it would count disconnects as last person to enter. I thought the server takes a list of names when you enter, if it takes an order and you disconnect your name would still be on the list and in the same spot as when you left or removed? Our dynamis ls loses a bunch of currency because people find it too hard to hit the pass button 3 minutes in advance, I want to be able to nail whoever takes the unaccounted money.
In my shell, I lot the currency at the end, and almost always it autolots to me when the zone reservation expires.
I'm not sure whether the currency would be lost in this case or not. That's my Dynamis LS in case nobody read the SS's, anyways,
Divisor was the last person alive in zone at the time, as far as I know, which means nobody else could have passed since they were all dead. In theory that means the currency should not have been lost because it would only be lost if the person who was getting it auto'd to them had passed & couldn't take it, shouldn't be the case here.
On another interesting note I know people are aware that rare/ex items do not get forced out of a treasure pool if it overflows, non rare/ex items always get forced out before them.
Actual items have some sort of priority for getting forced out as well. For instance in this same Bastok run the pool would often overflow from people not passing currency to the sponsor in time, but crafting materials that had just dropped would force out before currency that was already in pool. i.e. pool contained say 9 single bills, a mob dropped wootz ore & 2 singles, since that would put the pool up to 12 2 items had to be forced out, every time this would occur the wootz ore & a single would force out, at other time it was a gold beastcoin, or an infinity core.
It seems that currency actually has some higher 'stick' priority when it's in the treasure pool so it doesn't get auto'd out. Not really important I guess, but somewhat interesting to know.
Dyn-Valk trip, NIN belt dropped .7 seconds before exit (I didnt see it in the log, others did) and a SMN got it.
One time during a LS Dyna-Bastok Run we get a RDM Gloves and BST Body all within the last 45 seconds.
My Ballad bot got both pieces and all remaining currency.
Good Chance someone got it and isn't saying anything.
