The claiming system still works fine on mobs with no hate on them. The problems arise when a mob is already spawned and has hate on someone by any means. Then the new claim system is flawed. Crying about not getting claim on a mob with hate on a wiping ls isn't worth a thread.

actually Oct, claiming system is kinda fucked.

I was trying to lvl my blu in CN on the lizards, and some cunt JP BLM/BST started farming my XP mobs. We asked her to go, and shes like "PL PT TOOWEAK NO THANKS!". BLM75 and you're farming lizard skins at 25k / stack. Anyways...I'd dia a lizard with 0 hate that the moron's pet was being assaulted to, have that dia register in the log, and the pet would attack it and take hate.

Looks to me as if you were trying to steal Fafnir or it went unclaimed? Maybe from the people that died above were wiping to darters? Just an accusation.

Smart three different LS's landed stuff on it. Our LS also got Stun off on him, you however landed voke and Shield Bash. I found the who situation fairly amusing honestly, as we discussed in tellls. Then LS that claimed it nearly wiped in end, beating him with darters on them, and only two minutes before SSJ mode. Personally I was shocked they didn't get a Ridill, I thought it was 100% drop rate when you got forum drama!! :wink:

i'm not sure if this is what you're saying but, "multiple hate generating actions" don't combine and result in your alliance getting claim. it's the one person who gets enough hate that gets the claim.

I would have thought that the Ernst was defeated by the darter would have been sufficient. But even if it was an initial claim the very fact that my LS was able to get multiple hate generating actions off on a mob and not get claim is very sloppy game design. If the other LS got their hate generating actions off before me, they should have been awarded claim and my Shield bash and Cymry's provoke should NOT have gone through.

Again, you should have Flashed before hitting Invincible.

Exactly what the quote above me said. Your SS shows "Cannot attack. Target is claimed." Which means either you were trying to attack a claimed darter(yeah, right) or you were trying to steal Faffy.

P.S. for your enlightenment: The MPK patch wasn't made to stop half assed flail attempts, that was already solved with /blockaid. It was made to stop alliances from being completely wiped by a mob they cannot act upon. Now, for the mobs claim to change, his focus has to be drawn as well. Working as intended.

You can still make Fafhogg flail even with the whole alliance having /blockaid on.

I'm pretty sure you can secure the claim with an indirect action. In one instance I provoked and flashed a mob, its name remained yellow but I had hate, then it finally turned red when I used Warcry. (kinda late response to a couple people wondering)
