It's a decent gun - About 3/4 the delay of other guns COR can use, plus Ranged Accuracy bonus... But yeah, Coffinmaker or Martial Gun or whatever replace it towards the end. the way S-E made a big deal about it, I assumed Corsairs would be receiving a variety of pepper grinders, not just one in the 60s that's soon replaced.

they hyped up hexaguns alot but have yet to deliver in that field
I believe Hexaguns have a delay that is at least in the mid to high 400's, making the shots per minute quite faster than your typical gun of a 600 delay.

Hell, even if it enhances Quick Draw damage I would be happy.

I was disappointed when I heard it wasn't a 2-3 firing gun. Man, that would have been awesome.

You mean firing 2-3 shots simultaneously? That would be ridiculously expensive.

Maybe they could make it fire something cheaper, like pebbles. Then I won't kick my chocobo in the head and be so pissed off every time I go digging.

They did Hype it up alot... Atleast they gave us a little preview as to what to expect the new weapons to look like, giving each job a single new weapon in the 50ish range when the exp.pack came out. I definatly see this update giving some more sweet weapons.

All of the "Job weapons" turned out pretty damn corny. They made them seem like a totally different type of weapon, but they just turned out to be pretty and some stats on them. Jambiya ended up being nothing special(unless there is a hidden effect)? And Amood... ugh.

This Near Eastern two-handed axe is so exquisitely decorated with the lightweight precious metal scintillant ore, it shines even brighter than pure gold. The Amood's three blades allow its bearer to easily move and swing the weapon for repeated hits, improving upon a weakness of most axes in its class. Due to its versatility and strength, the Amood can be used effectively in all sorts of battles.
WHERE DOES IT EVEN MENTION THE MOON IN THAT?!

I think we can guess what might be on the AF pieces...I think what will make them good or bad in the end though is what piece acturally gets the "Blue Magic Skill +15" and so as it relates to later gear and ease of switching it in and out without the cost of another good piece of gear to do it.

Everytime I've busted was because I've rolled a 6. I can't even bust by a little margin it's ALWAYS a six, I do sometimes roll on 7 or 8 because those numbers suck and I hate unlucky.

Yeah, I was actually hoping for the same thing. It would be nice if there was a trait that decreased chance of busting. I can't how many times I roll double 6's to bust.

I have come to fear and respect the 6...alot of times I will just sit on six because I'm afraid to bust again. It's like pavlovian conditioning. If you get beat with a stick enough you'll stop doing things you normally do.

Then again, there are times when I've said "fuck it" when rolling a 6 and have some up with some nice 11's.

Levelling COR has me 99% convinced that 6 > 6 bust have a programmed in boost in probability. I can believe that AF would have a trait reducing it.

It's exactly like that for me as well lol. I usually don't take chances on 6, 7 and 8 until I've been in the PT for a while or I don't care about busting (usually when I don't care I roll 11).

i rolled on 9 before when i wasnt paying attention and got 11 8)

thing about double 6's... i used to think it was happening alot more than the odds say it should, but if you actually pay attention to all your rolls, you'll notice its about even ........

(although times when i get 6>6 then 6>6 make me sometimes think otherwise -_- )

i almost always roll on 6 unless i've already got a bust on me.. then i play 100% conservative till bust wears off and random deal's timer is up

as for traits on AF... i wanna see at least "enhaces quick draw" which would most likely further enhance the debuff aspect of it, not necessarily the damage

also.. a recycle trait would be nice ._.
