i still love that everyone complains so much, but seems to me that he won the election two times right?
Didn't they pull up missing ballot boxes in Florida for months after he won the first election?

No. He didn't really. Both were rigged (and I saw the 2nd one rigged 1st hand.)
Yeah, because Democrats are pure and never would stoop to dirty tactics, like driving poor black people to the polls and giving them cartons of cigarettes or anything like that. Yeah, I saw that first hand...but that's just "getting the vote out," not cheating.

Please...the only thing unfair about the elections, excluding the "get out the vote" advantage Democrats have due to their core being in high density areas, was Bush has alot, lot lot more money, and as you should, the person with the most money usually wins (the only thing that correlates better is incumbancy, and that doesn't apply as strongly to presidents because they don't have "safe" districts like the house). At last count, I believe 91-94% of Senate races are won by the candidate with the most funds, with a hugh majority of the exceptions falling under the incumbency factor.

It's like the people that think Al Gore should've won because he got the most popular vote. That's the stupidest thing anyone could ever say because it show you have no concept of how politcal campaigns are run and how fallicious that reasoning is. If the election had been for popular vote, strategies would've been changed significantly...suddenly NY and CA are open to Bush, TX is open to Gore, and neither candidate can ignore states. Bush would've destroyed Gore in a popular vote election because he has twice the amount of money to use...it would've been a nasty, nasty defeat.

This point is moot, being a president takes certain traits, and Bush lacks them, and he IS president. I say stupid shit, and I won't make a better president, but I'm not the president am I? I'm pretty sure no one else here is the president either. I'm also pretty sure most of us aren't going to be running for president any time soon. Just because someone got elected doesn't mean he's the right man for the job. Do you really think our nomination system picks the two best candidates in the country to run against each other? The presidency is won with money and backing, 'cause face it, if you don't have a main party backing you, you don't stand a chance.

Getting people to vote is a hell of a lot better than denying people to vote. I think using gay marraige as a voting topic was utterly retarded and much worse than giving out cigarettes. Such a useless useless thing to make a campaign about.

lol@getting people to vote being bad again. Do you think black people don't deserve the right to vote?

And WTF at thinking money makes a good fucking leader for our country. Fuck the politics, the guy who deserves to win is the guy who will make our country better.

Did I say anything about money making a better president? No, I said money makes a president, and if you don't have it, you won't be the president. It's as simple as that, and it's something the Democratic party doesn't seem to understand. For instance, Hilary Clinton will probably be the next Democratic presidential nominee...and it'll be a huge fucking mistake. Not only will it solidfy the base of the Republican party (which right now is on the verge of splintering) and instantly polarize the nation, it'll also give Republicans a license to print money. They've been using her as a fundraiser for years, they'll make so much more if she's actually running for president.

And bribing people to vote is just as bad as keeping them from voting, and both are illegal, yet both happen on both sides of the politcal spectrum. It's funny how you accused people of not thinking, yet you've got this HUGE set of blinders on. I am fairly impartial, I think both parties are full of shit, so I hate both of them. And Gay mariage is a useless issue, but republicans don't care about it, they just want to win. Something the democrats can't seem to grasp...instead of whinning about Bush, they need to plan on how to actually win elections.

No, it's the person with the most electoral votes. You seem to not understand what I was saying. If the election was based on popular vote and not electoral, Bush would've won alot easier, because instead of targetting the top 10 electoral vote states that were in play, you would have to mount a national campaign. Bush would've been able to flood the airways, whereas Gore would've gone bankrupt.

American politics...money talks, bullshit walks. It sucks, but that's the system.

    GG free thinking
Every president from now on will be exactly like that because there is no free thinking in America. The american public wants to be lied to.

Whoever can pretend to cater to the most special interest groups wins. GG "democracy"

I'd like to hear a response to the "drive the homeless to the polls and feed them chicken with a Gore logo on the box" point.

No, I just happen to have a degree in American politics. I did intern with a governor's campaign, but I hated it so I quit. Of course, I wish my town was still hick, instead having to deal with all the fucking retarded...err retired yankees.

Once they're in the voting booth they can vote for bush anyways and still get the chicken. If they vote for somebody because that person game them a chicken, well stupid people are allowed to vote too. Comparing it to denying people votes is ludicrous.
Oh and what homeless person would vote for Bush anyways? Bush doesnt help them. Its kinda part of what his policies are.
