- Fixed an issue where players would cheat by not using food against Colibri type mobs, as a temporary modification, Colibri will now steal food from a players inventory.

Optimism?- Fixed an issue wherein "Chigoe" type monsters would reward more experience points than usual. As a temporary modification, these monsters no longer give any experience points.
lol it's SE.Originally Posted by Celeras
Fixed for CoP.- Fixed an issue wherein players were enjoying the game and being fairly rewarded for their time spent. As a temporary modification, the game will no longer reward players for their time spent. We will address the issue of players enjoying the game in an upcoming patch.

My guess is the problem of people powerleveling rediculously easily on these is the main issue here.
DC Chigoes will pop from IT marids
there's no point for optimism because no matter what, SE thinks the Marid/Chigoe PTs that people are doing for 20k/hr+ is broken. the permanent fix, no matter what it is will make it impossible to get that kind of XP.Originally Posted by Celeras
the permanent fix will probably be what they did to detectors and aerns, limit the max number that can be spawned per Marid.
Personally, I think they'll lower the xp that chigoes give.Originally Posted by layoneil
Not really sure why 18-20k an hour should only be possible @75 and not all of the time with a really good PT. The average person will never come to the point where they never need to EXP again, (there's always a new and interesting job left, PUP too) so why not make EXPing easy. Or at least dont make it harder once you've made it better at one point.
The longer you have to exp, the more time you play, the more money they get, which is all they really care about. But then you should know this by nowOriginally Posted by Lockecole

Or, the more fun they make XP, the better chance someone will be excited enough to level their 4th, 5th, and 6th jobs instead of putzing around getting bored.Originally Posted by Dynamislord
I really can't help but wonder... If me and a friend were the cause of this nerf lol, we found out about marid pts before anyone on our server did(caitsith) and it got leaked out to alot of LS. Those LSs would have a full alliance, with lvls ranging 20-75, and only three ppl were not afk, the rdm/pld, a kraken clubber and a brd or whm. Ppl did this 24/7, they would switch out tanks ever so often. Once me and my friend went out and, as u pry know theres a five chigoe limit per zone off marids, we got all five off a marid, and held them for like 30 min till the other group found out what we were doing lol. They called a GM on us for holding, but of course GMs never do anything, they told the GM what they were doing and how it worked too ><. This was about two weeks ago, I'm not sure this could be the single cause of a nerf, but It's possible for the GM to have seen what was going on and report to the people above him.
Sorry~
Exactly. I've leveled 4/18 jobs to 75. I CANT BEAR LEVELING ANOTHER. At the rate I'm leveling, I'd actually probably be more inclined to level other jobs if I could stand the horrible grind from 1-70 (I can mooch Ridill PTs after 70) and in turn, have more gear to get, need to get more gil to get gear, and probably play more. This is coming from someone who plays alot, the majority of their playerbase plays 1/4 of what I do, so I don't see the danger of people burning out with 18 jobs to play...ever.Originally Posted by Kurp
